Here is the user manual for you: http://www.securtek.com/products-services/system-user-guides/ge/GE%20SimonXT%20User%20Manual.pdf . Answers are found on pg 31-32. Go to Section heading entitled "Access codes" (shown in blue). It then walks you through changing the Master Code, User Codes 1 to 8, and the Duress code. Not sure which code you are looking for but the steps for each code are pretty simple. Hope this helps.

Hi there, i have a Simon XT alarm system and i want to delete a sensor or reinstall it - i took it off the window when replacing them and now th system keeps bleeping to tell me it's been tampered

System says low battery ... how do I open it to replace batteries...very confusing!

There are two tabs (and possibly a screw) on the top of the Simon XT panel. Remove srew (if installed) and press the two tabs, pulling forward. Front part of panel is hinged and will rock forward. Battery is located behind front half. It is a 6 volt 1.2 Amp Hour lead acid battery.
You must completely downpower the Simon XT (wall plug in and battery) then replace with new battery first, then reconnect wall power. Close the front panel and snap it closedand replace the screw (if it was installed).You will need to set the time on the panel, following the instructions in the users manual.

Programing 1st and 2nd numbers on the Simon XT home alarm

Try entering the programming mode with the dealer code, not the master. It's 4321 by default.
