Before freezing, be sure you clean them thoroughly and avoid using any apricots that are damaged. Once apricots are washed and patted dry, cut them in half and remove the pits. Then slice them as you would slice peaches or any other similar fruit.

Boil a medium sized pot of water and dip the slices for about 30 seconds to prevent the skins from toughening, then place in strainer and run under cold water. From this point, freezing them may be done a few different ways, but the most important part is to be sure to include ascorbic acid to keep the apricots from turning brown.

One of the more common ways is to freeze them in a syrup. To make a simple syrup just add one cup of water with one cup of sugar to a pot. Heat and stir until all sugar dissolves. You will need about a half cup of syrup for each pint container you plan to fill with apricots. Then, add 1/8 teaspoon of the ascorbic acid to every cup of syrup.

Pour half of your syrup into a pint sized container you intend to freeze, then layer the apricot slices into the container, leaving about half an inch of space at the top, as the liquid will expand during the freezing process. After that, close the container, label it if preferred, and freeze it!

With this process, frozen apricots should keep for about 18 months if left in the freezer. Best of luck!

have you had the OBD codes read as this should pinpoint the sensor(s) that are out or what else may be happening , i'm not espescially conversant with this condition , is there a section in the owners handbook ref "freeze mode " ?

For MOST all engines to run efficiently... they must
reach & maintain an operating temperature of 180 °F
(Fahrenheit)... Temperatures vary by engine size...

thermostat sounds stuck causing car to overheat

The freeze control is wired parallel with timer, so both controls can turn Load ON-OFF.
So Load turns ON when either the freeze-control or the timer turns ON.
When both are ON, then Load will be ON.
Freeze control can be ON and timer OFF and Load is ON
Freeze control can be OFF and timer ON and Load is ON.
Only when both Freeze control and timer are OFF, will Load be OFF.

If pump is not turning ON below 32 (or the protection set point), then freeze control thermostat is suspect.
But you need to check if pump turns ON when timer turns ON.
If pump operates with timer, then freeze control is main suspect, unless there is a loose wire.
Open box and check for loose and burned connections.
If pump does not operate with either timer or freeze control, then check for loose wires and also check your circuit breaker and check that pump is operable.

Here's how freeze control works:
Freeze control is like regular timer, except it turns ON by thermostat instead of time-clock
Freeze control turns ON pump whenever thermostat kicks on.
Both clock-timer and freeze-control are wired to pump in 'parallel' so to speak.
Think of it as having two controls wired to same pump...
Both controls can turn pump ON-OFF.
If one turns ON, and other is OFF ... then pump is ON.
If both are ON, then pump is ON ... and electricity just flows around on extra wires.
If both are OFF, then pump is OFF.

Say it's below freezing all day.
Freeze control circuit is ON all day ... pump is ON all day
Clock timer turns ON > but circuit is already ON, so timer just opens more wires for electricity to flow around on.
When clock timer turns OFF > freeze circuit is still ON because it's below freezing ... pump is still ON.

240V wiring:
Power leads coming from circuit breaker go to terminals 1&3 on clock-timer
Same power leads connect to freeze-control-black and freeze-control-red.
Or connect freeze-control-black and freeze-control-red to terminals 1&3
This action puts power to clock and power to thermostat

Pump wires connect to terminals 2&4
Same pump wires also connect to freeze-control-blue and freeze-control-yellow.
Or connect freeze-control-blue and freeze-control-yellow to terminals 2&4
This action connects pump to both freeze-control and timer.
When either clock-timer or freeze-control turn ON, then pump turns ON.

possible dirty or defective lens

unfortianatly without removing it your really not doing yourself any favors, it may stop freezing up for a short time but its only a half @#* fix. i am also assuming your speaking of the evaporator not the condensor, the condensor is outside the evap is inside
