I just bought a Weber Conversion Kit, K688 by Redline for a Datsun 240Z and the kit did not come with any detail installation instructions for this car model. Could you please send me a copy of a good installation instructions that will show a detail description of the task? Thank you.

does the kit come with gear or just flange ?

I have done this for a customer. Firstly you need to remove the old flange, presumably you have the flexi coupling drive. You will need a slide hammer to pull out the centre pilot shaft of the flange, then remove the flange nut and flange.
Then you need to space out the new flange using a large washer between the bearing and flange. Use a depth guage so you now how much clearnce you require.Then refit the flange and nut, refit the prop.
You dont need to change the diff, thats more expense and time lost

You can defiantly convert from air to springs. I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. No you do not need to change the master cylinder if the conversion kit is made for this car.
Just will definately need to bleed the master cyclinder if the fluid level becomes empty. Otherwise the pressure is the same.
