- 1 Click the "Start" button. Click on "All Programs" and then click "Quick Play." The Quick Play main menu will appear.
- 2 Click the "Music, Video, Pictures" application icon. This button looks like a headset, film and photos. The "Music Video Pictures" page will appear.
- 3 Double-click "HP Webcam" from the "Source" list. The webcam application will open.
- 4 Double-click the webcam screen and it will open to full page view. Press the "Esc" key on the keyboard to restore the webcam screen to smaller view. Click the "Record" button at the bottom of the screen to record video using your webcam.
- 5 Click the camera icon at the bottom of the screen to take a snapshot. Find your pictures in a folder named "My Snapshots."

How do i turn my webcam off now ive turned it on by pressing fn& f11 together

Hello,

To turn the webcam off, you have to press the same buttons again. In your case, press Fn+F11.

If this does not work, check on your keyboard, on the Fs buttons to see where the webcam logo is, then press Fn+(the button with the webcam logo).

Unfortunately I cannot tell what the exact buttons are as you have not provided the laptop model.

I have an acer aspire 4530 and the webcam wont let other people see me

Using Messenger...
1. click on Tools tab and on drop-down menu, click on Audio and video setup...
2. click Next button and on Set up Audio and Video - Webcam, click on v and Select webcam
3. if webcam image display is satisfactory, click Finish button at the bottom right of the window
4. click on Tools tab and on drop-down menu, click on Options
5. in Options window, under Webcam click to set check-box to Allow others to see I have webcam
6. at the bottom of the Options window, click the OK button to exit

Using Skype...
1. click Tools tab and on the drop-down menu, click Options
2. in Skype - Options window, in the left side-bar
2. click on Video settings to Set up your webcam
3. click on 1 of the 3 radio buttons to Automatically receive video and screen sharing from...
4. click on 1 of the 2 radio buttons to Show that I have video to...
5. at the bottom right of the Skype - Options window, click the Save button to exit

My web cam has told me that sorry, your web cam is not found

are you sure that the drivers are installed? if you dont know for sure, you should visit the site of the manufacturer and look for driver for your webcam.

If the drivers are installed, maybe there is a button for the webcam on your laptop? maybe a function button with the f1 t/m f12 buttons? If there is one, try to press that button

thats all i know that should work.

Step-by-step guide for install 3Com HomeConnect PC Digital WebCam Lite driver.
1. Download file for 3Com HomeConnect PC Digital WebCam Lite from our site, save it on your computer and unzip.
2. Connect your 3Com HomeConnect PC Digital WebCam Lite to computer.
3. Right click on My computer and click Properties. Go to Hardware tab. Click to Device Manager button.
4. Find your new 3Com HomeConnect PC Digital WebCam Lite on Webcams category double click on device and press Reinstall Driver button.
5. Select Install from specific location, check Include this location and click Browse button to select the 3comdriver click Next button to continue and click Finish button to finish installation.
6. After this procedure you should see new 3Com HomeConnect PC Digital WebCam Lite in Webcams inside device manager.

A4tech webcam i lost my cd drive

1. Go to: http://www.a4tech.com/ennew/downloads.asp
2. Underthe"Downloads" section, you will find 2 fields. Use them to select your web cam's model.
3. Click the "GO" button.
4.Inthe next page: in the orange side-bar to the left you will find your webcam model & 2 buttons. Click the button labelled "Driver For PC".This will start the download of the installer for your web cam.

My webcam won't work or turn on

Go to windows main page and click the icon that has your webcam software as this will take you to the webcam function of your computer. Once inside your webcam software start by adjusting the webcam options such as frames, filters and distortions to your desired specifications. Next you should hit the capture button and it will begin recording, to stop the recording just click on the stop button which will be the same button as the capture once was. Don't forget to rate this with 4 stars before you log out.
