Why does my jvc kd-r526 reset to factory default everytime i turn it off

Try connecting the yellow wire to a constant power source. That is, a source that still has power when the key is turned off. The yellow wire controls the memory of the radio.

It wont come up with my product in the problem is about thing.. GRRRR...We have a D22 Nissan Navara, that has never had a different stereo other than the original Nissan reciever that came with the car when first bought brand new. We have bought a JVC KD-R526 Head Unit, put all the wires in, it won't light up or power on but will take discs and eject them?? PLEASE HELP!!
