Question about Toshiba e-Studio163 Copier

ERR: C2 driver

I did what did u said but I still get this ERR when trying to print:

Device is not connected or not responding...

in installation it asked me to choose a port(com1 com2 ... com3) I chosen com1

although I unplugged the usb cable it didnt asked me to plug it. it did not install a USB virtual port although i have a folder named drivusb full of inf and dll files...

Hi-

Look for an executable file on that folder and try to install usb driver

1. Press CANCEL JOB to clear the print job from the printer memory. 2. Turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on. 3. Try printing a job from a different software application. If the job prints, go back to the first application and try printing a different file. (If the message only appears with a certain software application or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.) 4. If the message persists with different software applications and print jobs, disconnect all cables to the printer that connect it to the network or printer. 5. Turn the printer off. 6. Remove all memory DIMMs or third-party DIMMs from the printer. (Do not remove the firmware DIMM in the lowest DIMM slot.) 7. Remove all EIO devices from the printer. 8. Turn the printer on. 9. Totally unresponsive to key imputs; display shows ERR


With any type of digital device such as this, there is a motherboard involved. When the buttons arent working, in your case, the solution is that the motherboard is shot. You could try to open the device and attempt to fix it or find repair service.

My M1522 MFP printer is working it used to be network shared but now I want to print direct from laptop to printer using usb cable (I no longer want it networked). It went to restor defaults and cleared...


When you changed from Network to USB cable, one or both of two things may have occurred.
First check your printers list in the control panel. You may find you have two apparent installations of the device. If so try a test page from each install and record the port settings for the one that responds. Delete the other and re-test. If the machine fails to print on any setting, delete ALL installations for the device and re-install from fresh with the USB cable. You may also need to go into the settings on the device itself and disable any network settings.

Printer still won't print


mmmmm This sounds difficult. Try this. Remove all printers from the laptop. Remove all printers in Active printers. Shut off laptop completely. Leave of for a few minutes. Boot the laptop back into windows. Power on ONE of the printers and connect it to laptop. What SHOULD happen is that windows will detect a new device and ask for a driver. Install the printer and do a test page. If you need more info please just ask.

Printer works scanner does not

  • Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
  • restart the computer
  • try to download drivers from the website
  • after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
  • then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.
Scanner:
Hi there,
  • Unplug the Scanner cable from the computer.
  • Unistall the Scanner drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the Scanner appications
  • restart the computer
  • try to download drivers from the website
  • after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the Scanner.
  • then you can connect the Scanner and and try to Scan.

After service at first slow to respond to print now tells me there is no HP device detected

To solve the printing problem..


# Hold the cartridge upside down, with the bar-code label facing you and take a damp paper towel.
# Use the towel to wipe the printhead of the cartridge on the bottom (where the ink comes out). Wipe the printhead horizontally in one direction only (left to right).
# Continue doing this until it looks clean.
# Then dab the cartridge on the towel to make sure the ink is flowing.
# Next, look inside the printer and locate the carrier that holds ink cartridges. Caution: Make sure the cartridges are not installed at this point.

1. Look for a shiny piece of metal underneath the contacts at the back of the carrier.
2. Take a damp cotton swab (use water only!) and wipe along the bottom of the shiny metal piece. Note: You may need more than one swab.

# Reinstall the cartridges, making sure you snap them correctly into the printer.

Lexmark x2500 err msg: UNABLE TO CONNECT


What you will see
When trying to print, you get a communication error; the device is correctly detected in the Device Manager, the firewall is not blocking any files and you can scan using the All-In-One Printer.
Explanation
Any PC using the AMD USB architecture is preventing the printer from printing when connecting via USB.
What to do
Follow the specific steps for the PC manufaturer below:
Dell Studio 1536:
IMPORTANT: Do not replace any hardware, before performing the following steps:

Step Action 1 Go to Control Panel 2 Go to Programs and Features 3 Uninstall AMD USB Audio Driver Filter
Note: Uninstalling this USB audio driver doesn't cause any impact for systems with Vista Service Pack 1 installed

Acer Aspire 5530, Extensa 4130, Extensa 4430, and TravelMate 4530:
There are files available to address printing problems when connected to a USB printer or multi-function printer, for Windows Vista and Windows XP.
  • Printer did not print, print jobs will be listed with the status "error" in the task list
  • No error message appears, printer simply does not print
  • Problem only manifests when the printer is connected via USB
