  • This tent does not come with any poles or anything that assists in setting up this tent. It just twists and "pops" up. No real assembly. Just pops up on it's own. Hope this helps.

Regards, Tony

What's a footprint tarp?

Footprint tarps are made an inch or two smaller than the tent floor and sometimes have loops that can be attached with the stake loops to achieve a custom fit. Most tent seller don't include trap so you should buy a install it on your own.

Do I need to ventilate my tent?

Not if you don't want to.

It is more comfortable to sleep with a nicely ventilated tent -- that's why tents are made with vents. If your tent seals up too well, you might get a headache people used to call "tent head."

Hillary ten person family tent

Step 1 Choose a spot to set up your tent. Look for level ground that's free of large rocks or other debris. Make sure you're safely away from your campfire. If it's possible, pitch your tent away from your kitchen area as not to bring animals too close should they be attracted by the smell of food. Once you've chosen a spot, clear the ground of small rocks and sticks to give you a comfortable floor to sleep on. Step 2 Unroll your tent. Put the rainfly and poles aside. Open the tent body so it lays flat on the site you chose. Orient the door so it faces in an accessible direction. Step 3 Take out the tent poles. A basic Hillary tent will use two long poles for the tent body and one short pole of the rainfly. Assemble the two long poles and thread them through the pole guides on the tent body, attaching them to the holes in each tent corner to raise the tent. Step 4 Open the rainfly. Assemble the shorter pole and guide it through the top of the rainfly. Place the rainfly on top of the tent and secure it to the bottom of the tent body with the attached hooks. Step 5 Stake down your tent. You don't want to be surprised by a storm in the middle of the night or while you're away from camp. Stake your tent even if the weather is clear when your arrive. Use a stake at least in each corner of the tent. Find a rock to hammer them firmly into the ground.

Coleman cobra 3

I wasn't able to find the manual for this exact tent, but you can find the instructional pdf for a very similar Coleman tent here: http://images.owneriq.net/download/images/a/a2b135c5-2f4c-f344-4952-99319efb54aa-000001.png

The video below may also help you see what the tent looks like once it has been put together (different angles may be helpful). Best of luck!

I have a disney princess tent that goes over a twin bed and i lost the instructions to putting it together and i need help.

  • 1

Remove the tent and poles from the packaging. Select an indoor area with a high ceiling or an outdoor area without overhead obstacles. The poles are not excessively long but they will be difficult to assemble without space.

  • 2

Lay the Princess tent with the floor on the ground. Pull on each corner to tighten the floor. Assemble the two tent poles by inserting the male sections into the metal ferrules.

  • 3

Slide one pole through each of the diagonal sleeves. Place the end of each pole in the fabric pockets on the corners. This will flex the poles and raise the tent body.

  • 4

Place the fabric roof on top of the tent. Attach the hooks on each corner of the roof to the loops on the top of the pole sleeves. The roof fabric will stretch tight and cover the ventilation gap in the tent ceiling.

Hello. I have a disney princess bed tent that my daughter recieved for christmas. We went to go and set it up and the instructions are missing. Is it possible to get a copy faxed/emailed to me?

I just put one of these up today with no instructions so I am going to share my experience. In my Disney bed tent there were two long sets of poles held together by an elastic string. 1) put these two sets of poles together. Now you should have two long poles. 2) Turn the three way brackets all the same direction on both long poles. 3) Lay out the tent and look in each corner of the tent for a little pocket to insert the end of a long pole...taking the other end insert into pocket, not diagonally, straight across the long way. 4) Do the same with the other side of the tent and long pole. 5) Now take your ten short poles and attach two together making 5 medium sized poles 6) Push these into the brackets along the long pole, kind of has a ladder effect. You are done!! I use mine with a full size blow up bed, the elastic gets stretched but I can set it up easily outside, or in the livingroom. Enjoy Nancy
