Hello, My Asus P4P800 SE motherboard has stopped recognizing my monitor LG Flatron 22'' . I have 2 PCs connected by a KVM switch. When I boot machine A, the monitor stays black. When I put the video card...

test both machines one at a time on the monitor without the kvm switch then hook up the kvm switch to machine A if all works well power off then hook up machine B and see what happens, it maybe that the switch is set to the other pc than the one you want to use first so the screen stays black untill its switched over

Is It required to connect Tower Front Panel I/O to Motherboard

The power button on the front panel would definitely need to be hooked up to the motherboard so you can power up the computer.

If you have any usb slots or a media card reader on the front panel, or both, then you would need to hook those up as well, otherwise the main one you need to connect would be the power button.

I need to hook up the power switch to a MPGA478b

Here is your manual: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
If this is a desktop there are only 2 wires that usually go into one connector. The mother board will have power switch or something like that written on it. It should not matter which way the connector goes on but check the manual out.
