Answer this. I let my brother borrow my Mp3 Player for a Summer. He put too many rap songs on and now it won't read the songs on my computer so i can delete them. My Mp3 Player is a Sansa e250 with 2 GB.

In your windows media you will see the device name listed..you have to make sure the device is under MTP mode..then click on the player and you will see all the songs...you can just right click on the songs and delete them..if you dont want the device to sync automatically you can click on sync and then click on the device name and click on sync setting..there you can modify if you want it to sync automatically..

That's the answer to your problem. The format error happens because the format of the song is not compatible with your mp3. So try downloading songs in mp3 format instead. Nothing's wrong with your mp3, it's just that the songs you're putting in it aren't compatible with it.

BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
To put songs on your mp3 player you need to install Windows Media Player on your computer, after you install it hook up your mp3 player to the computer and download your songs to the player.

Not a problem vonbeen...if you have the player and the computer then your good to go.
Just follow these instructions.

not sure but did you convert media before you put it on your player? Some must be converted before the sync process.

Your songs are in the wrong format - read my "tips and tricks" on song formats, as it is too complicated to explain here. Short answer: convert the songs to Mp3 format.

YP-U2J the first time i put the mp3 player in the computer it worked i do have songs on it. but when i went to change my songs it would not work. the computer would read the mp3 player and say that mt

all you need to do is update the software in the mp3 go to samsung.com and then go to download center and type in the mp3 modle which is usaly found on the back of the mp3 then you click on the firmware upgrade. but if this dosnt work try to turn it on and when it gets about 80 percent loaded just put it into the computer then

How do i put music on my mp3 player

if you already have songs in your computer connect your mp3 player it will say open folder answer yes, then click on the corner to lower or move your window drag your song from your computer folder to that window usually e or f. to drag the song you need to click and hold down your left mouse button on your song and move it to your e folder then release button. another way is by click right button on song then choose copy from the list then go to your mp3 folder e and right click then paste.
