If you have Paragon 4001-00, then you need X2772 tripper.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html
Or replace timer with Intermatic T101 120Volt timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html#T101

Thanks anyway - tried all these sites and none of them have these trippers. It's considered an obsolete product, but you have to figure somebody has some sitting on some shelf somewhere.

Looking for set of trippers for paragon 4014-20 pool timer

Copy following link to identify timer:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000

Paragon 4000 series uses X2772 tripper
Paragon is no longer making timers except for defrost times.
There is a new line of timers coming from China that looks identical to Paragon 4000, and uses same tripper. As a result this timer design and trippers could be around for years to come.

Replacement timer is Intermatic T104R 240Volt indoor outdoor enclosure, with replacement parts widely available

I can find 1 example TC101 timer, and it looks like cheap knock-off of discontinued Paragon 4000 series that uses X2772 tripper:

Add comment March 2013 and describe timer in detail.

4003-0s clock wont count does turn to show time or swicth on lights

1) If timer dial is not rotating, then the clock motor has gone bad.
New paragon clock motors are not sold anywhere I know about.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000

2) If dial rotates on time, but trippers don't work, then buy new X2772 trippers.

3) Buy new 120Volt 4003-00 timer at Southside for $86:
http://www.southsidecontrol.com/acatalog/Products_Paragon_4003_0_24_Hour_Time_Clock_4003_00_3823.html

We have a Paragon Time, Model #4001-00, TD-1744-00 at our softball field to control bathroom lights. The 2 ears or shut-off and turn-on devices were lost during some electrical work and we cannot find...

Thank you for including model number.

1) Open following link to identify timer and download manual
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Paragon-4000-24hr-7000-7day.pdf

2) 4001-00 series is heavy duty Nema 1 indoor 40 amp 120Volt mechanical timer with analog dial.
I don't recognize TD-1744-00

I'm not sure what you mean by 'ears'

3) Maybe you mean X2772 trippers?
Trippers are set on dial to control on-off switching.
If trippers are missing, Google search for X2772 tripper and some places still sell them.

4) If another part is missing, you might not be able to find that part, but you can photograph the problem and add a comment to this thread and include photograph so I can look at it.

5) if you have to replace timer, some places still sell Paragon 4001-00, or replacement is Intermatic T101 or T103 timer

I'm looking for Paragon 4000 series trippers set. Do you know a supplier for those trippers ? Thanks in advance. Regards,

Paragon 4000 series uses X2772 tripper.
Paragon is no longer making timers and parts, except defrost timers.
4000 is not defrost.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000

Internet search for X2772 tripper shows results, and most are very expensive.
Some Intermatic timers sell for less than being asked for paragon trippers, depending on model.

Replace timer with Intermatic using cross-over reference:

My paragon timer4001-ov runs but will not trip on/ off trippers if this cannot be repaired what would be a good replacement for 120 volt supply

I don't see the 4001-ov in the Paragon spec sheet
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Paragon-4000-24hr-7000-7day.pdf

To test the general condition of your Paragon timer, use the manual override.
If the manual override works perfectly, then you may need new tripper pins.
The Paragon 4000 series uses X2772 tripper pin.
Google search Paragon X2772 tripper turns up prices of $9 for a pair of trippers

A simple 120V replacement timer is the Intermatic T-101
For outdoor, use the T-101R 'R' for raintight

Lowes usually has the T-101 on the store shelf and they sell the T-101R online

I'm trying to set the times on a paragon amf 7 day timer

There should be 2 trippers for each day, the trippers slide on the outside of the dial and would point to the time of day you want your lights on and off. The silver trippers may be gone on that aged time clock, but are easily obtainable.
