Amana NED 7200tw will tumble and seems to work fine, except it will not heat up. I tried resetting the breaker, no go. How do I get to the heating element/fuses/etc. to check them out. It is stacked on top of the dryer, and in a cubby. Getting to the back panel in near impossible without unstacking and a lot of work. Can I remove the front panel somewhat easily and check from there? How do i remove the panel and what do i look for?

SOURCE: Dryer will not dry - drum will not turn

Just happened to mine also. The problem was that the Idler Pulley came loose from the drive belt. There is a switch on the idler pulley so that if there is no tension on it, the motor will not start and you will have the symptoms you describe. To reattach the Idler Pulley, remove the back plate surrounding the dryer exhaust. This will give you access to the Pulley. If the belt broke (unlikely with a new dryer such as yours), the fix is more involved. This dryer is the same as the Maytag MDE6700 - you can do a search for a service manual for that model and you can see the details. Hope this helps.

My AMANA PTAC unit model # PTH093b35ae is not producing heat. My air conditioner works fine. So, I get cold air. However, when I switch to heat, it still runs but does not produce any heat.

It is not switching from cooling into heating. You probably need to have a service tech look at the unit. Sorry. It could be control board or stuck reversing valve.

Tumble dryer wont dry clothes reset button doesnt work

Check the Circuit Breaker. It is a double Breaker Switch. one side is for the heat one for the motor. If that is good then it's possibly the Heating Element or one of the two heat sensors.

Where is the reset button on an Amana ASZ14 unit?

I don't think the Amana ASZ14 Heat Pump has a reset switch, but you can still reset it by resetting the power (when it's not running... turn your thermostat OFF first).

To reset the power, locate your circuit breaker box. There should be a double-breaker for the Heat Pump and another double-breaker for the Air Handler. Turn them both off for at least 2-3 minutes. Then flip them back on and turn your thermostat back ON.

You're thermostat may also have a RESET button that you can push. I have to reset mine every time I change the batteries in it.

I have a maytag washer/dryer single unit stacker that works fine except the dryer does not give off any heat at all.

Start with resetting breaker dryer tumbles with 110 but needs 220 to turn on element. If still no heat might have a bad element.
