How do I connect my PS3 to my network? It won't recognize my key.

Reset your wireless router. Unplug and plug back in.

Firstly, make sure your PS3 is is connected to your network. Without this, you won't be able to get access to the PSN. Go into the settings table, and scroll to the bottom to set your internet connection up.
If you are connected to the internet, make sure you are entering the correct password and username, it'll tell you if you are typing something in wrong.
It depends on the error that you are getting, to what needs to be done in order to get access to PSN.

Are you hard wiring it? if so you may need to reboot your modem then start the ps3 back up. Don't unplug from the computer and connect it directly to your PS3 because the modem still has the computer's ip address and it won't recognize the PS3 until you reboot it. If it's a wireless connection, check to see that when you scan for wireless connection that the green wireless LED is blinking, meaning it's searching for a signal. If it's blinking, then try resetting the modem and the wireless router as well and give it another try. If the green light does not blink, then there might be a harware issue with your PS3. The problem may be you need to go back into the router and configure some things for the PS3 (add to the MAC Filtering list if that is enabled, set up a custom IP address, port forwarding, etc.) and re-do your PS3's network settings to have as much info in manually as possible. You may also want to try and power cycle your internet modem and router. A lot of time just a refreshed connection will fix the issue.

My adapter constantly loses connection completely to the router and cannont be re connected unless i unplug and replug back in the USB port. What a joke!?
