Hi-

Best is you call your manufacturer and your phone company there in your place, they can give you exact and precise info on this matter, on my own opinion it will actually work since that is a tri band or more type of cellphone.

Hope this helps

Can use my on moto g 16 gb on tracfone

Hello Garry!

To answer your inquiry, the compatibility will depend on the model that you have. Let me share with you the bands that Moto G uses, please consider if you have a CDMA or a GSM version.

Global GSM Model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)

US GSM Model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 1700 (AWS), 1900 MHz)

CDMA Model:
CDMA/EVDO Rev A (850, 1900 MHz)

Also, I kindly recommend you to verify with Tacfone, if your device will be compatible with their network.

If you need further information about the specifications of your device, please follow up this link: http://bit.ly/MotoG-specs

What does WCDMA 2100/1900/900 on a nokia e5 mean?

short answer
this tells you that the phone is what is know as as tri band phone and will work on any of the 3 stated UMTS networks frequencies.
check country of travel to ensure compatabilty.
long tech answer.
the term Wideband Code Division Multiple Access means that you phone is code divisional and will only react to a call that is made that is for your phone, even if more calls are being received on the same frequency the other are ignoted and you have full security of your call. you phone can decipher which is the call for it and accept the call this is used to save on network frequencies. under the
wireless Universal Mobile Telecommunications System networks.

2100 is the mhz range 1920-2170 mhz as used in Europe, Asia, Africa, Israel, Oceania, Brazil, India
1900 is the mhz range 1850-1990 mhz as used in Americas, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia
the 900 is the mhz range
880-960 mhz as used in Asia the carabien and europe.

so as long as you have a roaming agreeming with your local provider this phone will work in most places in the world.

My husband purchaced a Motorola cell phone from someone a couple of days ago. After he paid for it, she told him the provider for the phone was T-Mobile. She said we could take it to a T-Mobile store and...

If you know someone that has T-Mobile you can ask them to call and get the unlock code for you. Otherwise they wont give it to you.

Also that phone wont work on AT&T 3G since Tmobile has a different 3g band and therefore will not work on an AT&T branded phone since it can only operate on AT&T 3g band. AT&T is using 1900 MHz for 3G and T-Mobile uses 1700 MHz.

Hi, i have Nokia 7230 mobile phone. My friend give me.He is live in UK London.i live in pakistan. My mobile Phone not working here.have any body unlock code free?

he 7210 Supernova is a tri-band phone working on the 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz bands. In the UK they use 850 and 1900 MHz bands (as opposed to 900 and 1800 in India and pretty much everywhere except North America).

If you can pick up an operator using the 1900 MHz band you'll be fine. If not, you're out of luck.

If you want full GSM coverage both in India and in the UK then you need a quad-band phone. The 7210 Supernova doesn't fit the bill.

Change freqauncy from 1800 to 900 .It do not support sim cards.

I do not understand, The phone is Tri-Band GSM and Di-Band WCDMA so that is 5 bands. It runs on the 850/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies as well as 1700/2100 MHz UMTS/HSDPA 3G frequencies. It does not have the 900MHz band as it is not used in the United States. The European version of the phone comes with the 900MHz band instead of the 850MHz band.
