Hi,call barring - Enables you to restrict or bar certain or all types of calls to and from your mobile phone, i.e. outgoing calls, outgoing international calls, incoming calls. Barring is activated with a personal code.

Call barring is a mobile phone feature that allows the user to set certain prohibitions on incoming or outgoing calls. This is an effective means to prevent the phone being used to make expensive international or premium rate calls, particularly when the phone is to be used by people other than the subscriber.

Many companies that provide handsets for business use now employ call barring as a security measure, to control their use and restrict calls to pre-approved numbers. The user's personal code must be used to activate this feature.

How do I get it?
Contact your local Service Provider. You will need a four digit barring code. Initially this will be 0000. You should create a personal barring code for security. Please consult your cellphone's instruction manual.

What does it cost?
This service is free.

Also you can deactivate it from your cell phone..
Different cell phones have different setting functions,

You can try these out. It's the general way to deactivate call barring (NOKIA) .

Follow the below instruction:

Go to Menu,
Enter settings,
Scroll to Security,
You will see call barring on that list,
Click on it,and scroll to last option and you will see cancel call barring.

Your cell phone might not be the same with these functions,but the procedure are aways the same..

Hi try this steps..go to menu of yuor phone..select phone setting.Call barring must be NO.or deactivated..Call Barring means restricting an incoming or outgoing calls..

Press Option and select deactivate all barrings
But a notification will appear to contact your service provider.
You can ask them the barring code or let them deactivate it

there is a way to stop the call barring.When call bearing is activated on the phone, it restricts all out going calls on the phone but you can receive calls.

You need to deactivate it so that you can be able to make out going calls.

Type in the code to deactivate call barring #33#0000# to deactivate.But if you want to activate it back for some one else not to make use of the call credit on your phone you can activate it by dialing this code *33*0000#.

So try contacting your Vodaphone customer service and ask for the call barring code, see if it opens up with a code that they give.

It's possible if you are on a limited call monthly contract thatwhen you run out of call time it bars your calls and when your contract renews every month you have call time so the barring lifts. If this is the case then it is nothing to do with the phone. call your network and see if you can add an option to make extra calls that are added to your bill.

you will need to master reset the phone to take that feature off....or just take it into a mobile service center to have it done for you.
