Hello Dass,

Press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds; the screen will clear out and then the Apple logo will appear on the black background. When the logo appears it means that reset is done.

How to retrieve passcode to iphone 3gs

You can if it is a simple password- only four numeric digits. If the complex pass code was enabled in your settings then you will have to restore it through iTunes and lose all of your saved info. If you aren't worried about that just turn the phone off, hold the home button down while you plug it into your computer and keep holding the home button down until iTunes recognizes your phone in recovery mode. Then follow the prompts on your screen until it is restored. If you are trying to save the info on your phone just go to iPasswordhelp com and follow the instructions. I'll link the video below.

What is the default passcode for iphone 3gs

Generally, the default passcode can be 1234 or 123456, and the digits rely on the blank number. This small trick is useful and some users are fond of this method. This solution can be workable and effective to help you to unlock iPad passcode without restoring.

However, if this doesn't work, check: Fixed: iPad Asking for Passcode I Never Set

I have bought a iphone 3gs from a friend i do not have the original computer to restore factory settings on itunes. Is there any other way that i can bypass the pass code as my friend has forgotton the...

Forgotten his passcode? Odd... on a Mac, the passcode he needed was the computer's passcode, you know, the same one he needed to update anything on the Mac computer or to load any new software. Assuming that was the same as his iTunes password, he also needed that when he made itunes purchases or updated the OS on the phone. Kind of sounds like this wasn't your friend's phone after all! Sure it isn't stolen? Might want to take this one to your local Boys in Blue!
Go to an Apple store and they should be able to do it for you, unless the thing is reported as HOT! Good Luck!
