    Download photos computer

Download photos from any camera is highly unrecommended because that quickly disharges the camera battery. Instead, turn camera off and then open battery door. See picture memory card at camera edge, push in and release to pop up. Then, draw card out of the slot taking care to avoid finger contact with contacts. Close battery door. No insert card into card reader on computer. (Most computers these days have built in reader. USB interface readers can be purchase at low cost.)
If the upload start up dialog does not auto star, then open Computer and double cick open it there. A menu will appear offering wholesalee import you can chose Review Folders in Explorer. Once opened, photos can be handled and stored ot computer like any other file. It is preferable to copy files as opposed to moving them, using camera itself to delete files. Now close Fuji folder and initiate safe removal. When approved, remove memory card and reinsert in camera. Question answered.

    Fujifilm finepix s2900

If the pictures are in the camera's internal memory, first copy them to the memory card using the Copy command in the Playback menu. See page 89 of the manual: http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/manuals/pdf/index/s/finepix_s2800hd_manual_01.pdf

To download the pictures from the memory card to your computer, take the memory card out of your camera and put it into a card reader attached or built-in to your computer. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

How do i get photgraphs from my fujifilm finpix S to my mac book air?

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

How can I download pictures from my fujifilm s1600camera onto my PC Windows7

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use Windows Photo Gallery or any photo cataloging program.

I am using a fujifilm 2GB M xd card. After a photo shoot, when I turned the camera on it said "card not initialized." What can I do? I really do not want to lose these photos, as they were from a shoot and...

Formatting on the computer or in the camera erases the card. That is not what you want. Use a separate card reader to download the pics (if they still exist) to your computer. If that's successful, then format the card in the camera (not the computer) to initialize it.
