Some DVD readers simply will not accept burnt dvds, This is usually a problem with lower end/older players. Unfortunately with stand alone dvd players there isn't anything that can be done to update them.
To avoid the issue in the future, I would suggest getting a DVD player that suports DivX, it will be listed as a feature on the box. This will not only guarantee that the dvd player will accept burnt dvd's, but you will also be able to fit much more video on the DVD due to advancements in video compression technology since DVD players first became available, a standard movie instead of taking up the entire 4.7gb of a dvd, will only require as little as 700mb, meaning you can fit up to 6 full movies onto one blank DVD
hope this was helpful. Sorry there is no easy fix for your problem.

Hello page305,

IF you can use it in the server then there is no problem with the drive. There might be a problem on the network settings, if you have double checked the settings you can try to restart bought of the computer the server and the other one. You can also try sharing it with administrator access. And also if it is a dvd you can try updating your video player software for codecs.

Please reply if this doesn't solve it so that I can provide the right resolution.

I have a jvc everio share station cd-v3 dvd burner but when using

Try burning a copy that is recorded at a regular resolution. I think the hd 300 records at its highest setting in blue ray quality. Try something like SD mode. If yours has it. I have a jvc hd camera and its set up this way. Hope this helps.

I am trying to burn a DVD with my everio share station but it says non compatiable disk I have tried plus and minus which one should I use

The ONLY discs it will use are the DVD-R discs. And the cheaper, the better. The more expensive discs, for some reason, just do not work.

What type of dvd do i need to transfer my home movie from cannon

You can ONLY use DVD-R discs with the Everio Share Station. I do not know why, but they are the only ones that will work. And the cheaper the discs, the better. I tried Verbatim, the JVC one that came with the burner, and other 'top' name brand discs, only to find that I had burned, or didn't burn, coasters. The cheaper the discs, the better they seem to perform. I don't know why. But for me, that works.

Share station says incompatible disk

The Everio ONLY accepts DVD-R discs, nothing else. I do not know why. I use the cheapest discs that I can find as I have found through the years that they work the best. I have had my Share Station for about 3 years and it works great.

Can't burn from jvc everio hard disk cam to the share station

The Everio only accepts DVD-R discs, and the cheaper, the better. I burned a lot of coasters for my cats to chase when I tried using the 'name brand' discs. I buy cheap off-brand discs and have no problems.

Jvc burner is burning for 7 to 8% only, showing change the disc even using DVD-R,DVD-RW

Use the cheapest DVD-R discs you can find. I have found that the expensive discs did not work for me. All I ever burned were coasters that I flung around the living room for my cats to chase! They loved DVD burning days! For some reason, the expensive discs just do not work.
