SOURCE: beko cooker model DC211B
Hi
many thanks for your reply ,I suspected that a charge may be applicable for your guidance of how repair the Fault .
Hence enough money spent as I was not happy with the wiring of the appliance as it would not have passed a P.A.T. .
I have purchased a New Cooker Model DW531 as the appliance is for my Disabled Brother & his Wife (Trade Price )
Many thanks
Mginty

A bit further investigation revealed the following:
Remove the two black clips on either side of the rear of the grill element and the element will come loose. Remove the connection lugs (two on the left and one on the right) and install the new element. Caution is needed because the element connection lugs do not have a lot of excess wire on them and may require the removal of the back of the cooker to effect a good replacement.

I would not advise you to remove the element unless you feel competent to do so.
Best thing to do is to put the grill full on and let all the fat and grease burn itself off.
you will not hurt anything by doing this.
Make sure you have the griil door open and your house door.
Plz rate my solution.
thanks.
SOURCE: oven element in IAG stove
Sounds like the thermostat is faulty but odd that both ovens fail to the same degree. It would probably be worth having the thermostat tested. Our IAG IOM6SE2 had the beeper volume go to a quarter volume - perhaps a similar problem. It is under warranty but IAG are not too keen to fix it. They first said, if it is a setting then we will bill you, and then, if it was caused by a power outage then it is not covered. (How can you tell?) They also suggested we claim against our home insurance. I have tried to find a service manual on the web, but no luck. If I had a circuit diagram I could be of more help.
