MY BEST GUESS FROM WHAT YOU HAVE SAID IS THAT THE BOX WAS TO SMALL. BUT YOU ARE OVERPOWERING THE SUB RUNNING IT AT 2 OHMS ON A 750 WATT AMP WITH A SUB THAT IS ONLY RATED FOR 600. NO MATTER HOW FAR YOU TURN YOUR SETTINGS DOWN, YOUR STILL PUSHING TO MUCH POWER FOR THE SUB TO HANDLE. IT IS ONLY RATED 600 WATTS FOR A REASON. ESPECIALLY IF YOU LISTEN TO MUSIC THAT HAS A REAL LOW END AND THEN A HARD HIT. REMEMBER A HARD HIT WILL SPIKE YOUR AMPS OUTPUT THEREFORE PUSHING MORE WATTAGE TO THE SUB.
Well you really can't run both speakers on one term. because you will over heat the amp , unless your amp is rated at twice the capability of your subs , Then if so , Try positive to one sub , then neg. to the other sub , then bridge the remaining positive to the remaining negative terminal , But it is really best to get a two channel amp for your subs !!!
i have found the specs to your amp.
1. Amplifier connections: Lets make things simple. As we look at the amplifier speaker connections, we will number the outputs 1 2 3 4 from left to right for the top connections and again 5 6 7 8 from left to right for the bottom connections.
1 should be connected to a positive (RED) (+) on sub woofer A on voice coil (a)
4 should be connected to a negative (BLACK) (-) on sub woofer A on voice coil (b)
Now using a small piece of cable, connect negative of voice coil (a) to positive of voice coil (b)
Follow the same procedure for the other sub woofer using 5 and 8 as 1 and 4
This configuration should make the amp run at 4 OHM BRIDGED x 2.

off the same amp? you have two way different sounding speakers man. you can buy 2 identical speakers from the same company and brand and series and they will play differently every time. you have 2 speakers with nothing in common so you will hear a difference and maybe interference because of the different ohm levels.
well first of all you cant bridge subs... you can bridge an amp... and for 2 they are probablly not 1000 watts, make sure you understand RMS and what the sub can ACTUALLY HANDLE properly... i would get a 1000 to 1500 watt RMS that is RMS RMS RMS RMS amp not one that says 2000 watts MAX POWER cuz thats cheap ****... get a kicker JL hifonic alpine or something in that category that actually tells you the TRUE power output of the amp... then run those 4 subs in a parallel circuit so its like really only having 2 subs. make sure then these subs do not run less then 2 ohms at the terminals while in a parallel, then bridge these subs acting as 2 subs not 4 to your TRUE 1000 watt amp and you should have a good powerful system
Assuming there is no short, or lose ground wire somewhere inside the box, diodes( in the amp) are fine, you might be overheating it by not allowing it to get good ventilation. This can be a big deal on some low end Chinese amps. Or the speakers are blown , or your Resistors (in the amp) are bad, but for arguments sake. Most people don't use the proper size and or conductivity types of wiring, for pushing high amperage Think about it like this, Watts (power) =.Amps (energy) x Voltage (pressure) Resistance or Ohm's (amount) determines how much Wattage will go in or out, Ohms = Volts x2 / Watts. What gauge wire are you using on your setup?
