I dropped my projector accidentally a few weeks ago, but everything has been fine until today. The projector turns on and projects, but it doesn't display anything - not even the menu when I press the menu button. I just got a new lamp, and I'm not sure but the projector may not be projecting as bright an image as it was before. I can't tell, though, because it's just projecting black. This morning the projector worked fine, so I don't know what's up. Thanks for your advice!

Is it possible that you didn't drain the air out of it after you used it a couple of weeks ago? If the pressure in the tank is somewhere around 100psi, the compressor won't run until it drops lower. If there is no pressure in the tank you might see if you can wiggle the pressure lever that makes the switch move to turn on the motor - it might be stuck.
If the lamp is working it should be fairly obvious but stand to one side of the lens and see whether there is any light coming from the projector. If there is you know that it's an input problem. If there isn't either a fuse has gone, the bulb has blown or the filters might need cleaning. If the bulb has blown it's probably because you handled the bulb. It's vital not to touch these bulbs with your fingers. If you do wipe it with methylated spirits.
