SOURCE: I cannot find hdtv channels on my viewsonic n1930w

Are you trying to get the HD signal from the roof antenna or from cable? when you set the tuner to scan for channels make sure it is set for 'CABLE' if you are on cable, or 'AIR' if using roof antenna.

SOURCE: ViewSonic VT2230 turns on, shows

Hi,
This kind of problem related to bad firmware saved in ROM that is part of main board so main board will be rpelaced to solve this issue.
It has nothing to do with power supply board that was replaced.
I'm not sure if main board is available some where as I could not locate it.
Thanks.

SOURCE: I cant change my VT2230-M

I had the same problem. It appears to be due to a bad tv tuner. Turn on your computer and leave the coax unplugged. Leave it for a while (15-30 min). When you see "snow" on your screen, you will be able to use the source button to change to another input and see if you can get a signal. I am running my cable through a dvd recorder and using the AV input to watch tv. Also, my HDMI, component and RGB work fine. After thank don't try to access the TV source until you have had your tuner replaced.

Here is what worked for me after a chat conversation with customer service represntative:
1) Remove the batteries.
2) Look at the lower part of the remote - there is a sliding lid, where the name ViewSonic is printed + 9 small knots. Slide it so you see 4 black buttons and 4 colored buttons.
3) Hit twice on every button on the remote keyboard.
4) Place the batteries back. Make sure that you follow the direction of the polarity of the batteries.
5) See if the remote control is back to work. It worked for me!

When Monitor has been switched off for 8 hours it takes 5 minutes to get back up again. Once up it will work perfectlt

This monitor is more than 2 years old, time to look for bad caps with bulging top in the power supply, see example of failed VIEWSONIC monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

I have a viewsonic 22'' (I think) model VX2235wm. It has both digital and analog connections in back. Can I use both -- one going to one PC, the other to a 2nd PC -- and switch between them?

yes you can. If you need further assistance on how to do it please let me know though its as simple as switching inputs with the buttons on the monitor.
Thank you,
