I ve got the wash machine whirlpool model AWM 5125/3, second hand. I am in need of the manual for it. Where can I find online? Another matter is that the machine does not complete the cicle at once, stopping nowhere in the button and it does not spin. Please let me know what to do and where to get the manual for it. Thanks Emilia

I require an operation manual for a Whirlpool AWM302

The Whirlpool UK site has support for the AWM 302. The direct link to the manual is http://docs.whirlpool.eu/_doc/501910006566GB.pdf . If this isn't your model, start at http://www.whirlpool.co.uk/support/instructions-for-use/instructions-for-use.content.html and click on Search. Then search using the Commercial code box. (There are also washers with the commercial code AWM 302/3 and AWM 302/4.)

I hope this helps.

Hi. I've just been loaned a Whirlpool awm 5125/4 washing machine (while mines gone for repair), but it has on the back of the machine, a hot inlet and a cold inlet. My machine only requires a cold water...

Hi,

Your machine can be connected for cold fill only but, you will need to connect a "Y-Piece" for it to work:
belectric_29.jpg
The tail of the "Y" attaches to the cold water valve on your pipework. You then attach both hot and cold water hoses to the branches of the "Y" and connect both hot and cold water hoses to your washing machine. The wash cycles will take longer when connected this way as the machine has to heat the water internally. It will also be less energy effecient.

Please post back if you need further assistance.

I am trying to locate the brushes in my whirlpool awm 5125 washer i have taken the top off but cant locate them

the brushes are on the motor which is located at the rear of the machine sitting just under the wash unit.

You will need a 10mm spanner to remove the bolts holding the motor on. unclip the wiring to the motor and remove.

the carbon brushes are located on the rear of the motor - one on each side of the commutator,

you will need a philips screw driver to remove the brushes
