We bought a DB Dynamics Home Theatre system (Vega F50), came with two lge front speakers, voice speaker, two sml back speakers and sub woofer-150watts. The Amplifier has one jack terminal and the woofer has two left and two right jack fittings plus 4 screw in terminals. How do we connect (and what fitting) do we need to connect them. We have no other cables included in the package.

I went with Cerwin Vega for my speakers and they have been great. You can find them at Best Buy I believe or even order over Amazon.com (shipping is always high). Be careful buying over eBay unless they are like new or new--you don't know how they've been used or abused in that case. I have 4 smaller bookshelf speakers for the surround and back surround, an LW12 subwoofer, and some 10" Cerwin Vega L9 units for the front. I also bought a nice CV center channel speaker--went a big bigger and better on that unit as it plays the voices on 5.1 and 7.1 surround.
As I understand it (& how I've got mine) is, center speaker under the TV (or over), left and right front speakers close (about 2-3 foot) to the TV and to the left and right respectively and the rear left and right speakers just slightly in front (2-3 foot) of the main viewing position and left & right respectively, for maximum bass resonance put your sub unit in the corner of the room (easy if your TV is in the corner) as it will have 3 surfaces to resonate off for better depth.
Be sure that the connection on the back are indeed outputs. Many manuf. set up what looks like speaker connections but in reality these are high level inputs to the sub. THE GREAT OZ.
You need to check the connections on the cross over board and also Ohm out the speaker to see if the voice coil is open. If you cannot get the same woofer, then you should replace them in pair, try http://www.parts-express.com//index.cfm?
You cannot use this system with one that does not have a Subwoofer or LFE (Low Frequency Effect) output. Unfortunately, this sub doesn't have a line-level (speaker wire) input. Sorry.
This means that you have purchased a three piece home theatre system. Two tweeters and a sub-woofer. Assuming you are using a Stereo player (Tape/CD/DVC)you have to connect the Left Output of the Stereo placer to the Left Input at the back of the Sub-Woofer and the Right output to the Right input of the subwoofer by cables. Then take tweeters and connect them to Right speaker and Left speaker output at the back of the sub-woofer ( note if the speakers are marked L/R, then connect them to the subwoofer output accordingly. In case you are using a 5.1 player, then only connect the front right and front left to the Right and Left input at the back of the subwoofer. You are and you can now start playing your music or movies and and you will get theatre quality sound.
This is the way speakers sound on most theatre systems. It just depends on how much power is in the system itself. The more power the better the sound.
If you have a button on your remote that has the word 'LEVEL' on it, press this and you can change the power that goes to each speaker.
