Probe light on convection oven stays on. Clock won't display. Oven still works though.

Sounds like the control board is not communicating correctly with the rest of the unit, consult a professional.

No power to neff bottom oven

Bottom oven is directly linked to the clock, If the clock is on but not set ie 0:00 or 12:00 flashing it won't work, set the time (doesn't have to be right, just not flashing) try oven again. If this is not the problem please contact me again and we'll look further. Cheers

Ge profile oven lock button won't go off

  • 1.Press the "Clear/Off" button on the control panel to reset the oven. This will clear the lock setting and unlock the door.

2.Allow the oven to cool to room temperature to avoid turning the lock on again during this heating cycle.

3.Reset the oven to the temperature you require to finish cooking by pressing the correct temperature control on the control pad.

    or

  • 1.If your GE Profile microwave won't turn on, unplug it, then plug it back in. A power outage may have occurred due to a power surge. Check your home's fuses and circuit breakers.

2.Set the clock of your GE Profile microwave. Certain models will not operate until you set the clock. Select the "Clock" key and type in the correct time.

  • 3.Hold down your microwave's "Off" button. You may have accidentally hit the control-lock feature on your GE Profile microwave. Hold down the "Off" button for three seconds to turn the lock off.

  • 4.If the sensors of your GE Profile microwave are not working correctly, remove the food from the machine. If the sensors detect food-surface temperatures over 200 degrees Fahrenheit, it will not work properly until the area cools down.

  • 5.Contact GE Support if you are unable to resolve the issue on your own. Call the GE Support hotline or browse the help library on the GE website. You can also schedule a service visit on GE's website.

Oven doesn't work (bake nor broiler) checked both heating elements there fine whats next?

With out a model number I was unable to look up any specific information.
First I would look for a thermo fuse on the back side. If you model has one it may be bad. If it's a older oven with a mechanical clock make sure the clock is not set to timed bake.

Oven clock no display and oven wont work any way to bypass clock new world cgk 21556

These things are a pain! When you first power up a lot of New Workd ovens, they come up in AUTO mode and the oven won't work, so you have to take it out of auto mode and stop the clock flashing. I'm giessing that though your clock DISPLAY isn't working, the clock is and the oven think it is.

There are 6 buttons below the clock display. To take it out of AUTO and stop the clock and oven thinking the display is flashing:

Numbering the buttons from left to right as 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 (because they have silly symbols!) press the 4th button (a picture of a hand) you will hear a little click and the oven will now work. If you have to power the unit off for more than about a minute at any time, you will need to do this again

Cannot set the clock on my oven

It depends which model of timer, but try this.

Hold in the two leftmost buttons (of 4??) and turn the litte knob to the correct time then let go the buttons.

On some clocks you will have to press the far right and far left simultaneously 2-4 sec. to go int the set mode if this doesn't work try other combination of two buttons until the display blinks.

    Hope it helps.

No name on the oven so presume it's a Europa same as the cooktop. It won't move off 0:00 with automatics on the lefthand side showing.

    Hi -

I'm assuming this is an Omega/Creda Europa oven. All you need to do to make the oven work again is set the clock. The 0:00 and "AUTO" will stop flashing and the oven will work again. You didn't specify a model number, but you should be able to set the clock as follows:

    1. Hold down the two buttons on the left-hand side under the clock display. One should have a symbol of a bell and the other, a symbol of a cookpot (not a cookpot and 'STOP').
    2. While still holding both of these buttons, use the + and - buttons to set the clock to the correct time. The clock needs to be set in 24 hour format.

If this doesn't work, look for the buttons under the clock with the bell symbol and the cookpot symbol. Hold both of these buttons in and use the + and - buttons to set the clock.

If this doesn't work or your clock doesn't have these buttons, let me know and I'll check for other possible methods of setting the clock on Europa ovens. If you can find the model number it would assist me greatly. This should be on a sticker on the rim of the oven and can only be seen when the oven door is open - possibly at the bottom. The model number should be something like 40-1, 60-1 or 66-1.

If you can't find the model number, please let me know how many buttons there are in total below the clock and which symbols are written above each button and the order from left to right. I will then be able to provide the correct instructions for your oven.

    Hope this helps.

Will not stay on!!! the timer unit has the A symbol showing and unable to get it off, when you try and set the time by pressing the ready time and cook time buttons simultaniously the the minus button the...

You need to check that when you turn the automatic off, there is no time remaining in the cook time. You need to ensure that this is set to zero when cancelling the auto function.
If this still doesn't worh then espares will be able to source a replacement clock for you.
