Run it in compatibility mode by right clicking on the rolling thunder icon. And then click on Run it in compatibility. Let me know how it goes.

Please help

Change the compatibility settings of the .exe file that executes the game to an earlier o.s. That should work. If it is REALLY old, try DOSBOX

Black screen in windows 7?

most probably a driver issue with your video card see if you have the right driver for your video card window 7 requires latest drivers especially running 64bit, but if this is a fresh install of windows 7 try rolling back to xp and see if you have the same problem

Toshiba a25-s2792 No sound in windows 7

Yes,....good Ol' Windows updates. Known to knock a system partially out of commission.

Windows has lost the address to the Audio drivers. The reason it states Audio is working properly, is because Windows is full of it.

The Toshiba Satellite A25 series of Notebook PC's, did not come with Windows 7. It came with Windows XP. You, or someone else installed Windows 7.

The updates knocked the audio driver address file to the curb.
All you have to do, is install the Win7 installation disk again, and perform a Repair.
(Non-Destructive Installation)

OR, use the Restoration Disk, (Backup disk)

Toshiba eSupport does not provide audio drivers for Win Vista, or Win 7, for this model. Only Win XP,

{Do I think going to Device Manager, and rolling back the audio driver, or upgrading it, will help? NO }

When i install the game, the graphics of the cars are all distorted. how can i fix this? I'm running it on windows 7. Will it have problems running on windows 7?

Right click on the executable file for the program, select Properties. In the resulting window, select Compatibility, then change it to Windows XP.

To find the executable, right click on the icon and look at where it says the shortcut leads, then navigate there in Computer Explorer.

You might also find a config utility in that folder, or in the options menu.

When I turn on my acer netbook a message comes on that says a recent hardware or software change might have caused windows not to start successfully.

It sounds like a software or driver problem.
You could try running Last Known Good Configuration and see if rolling back to a known good will work.
This video will help you to run last known good configuration, it shows Windows 7 but if your not running Windows 7 all the versions of Windows run last known good config in the same way.

I am thingking of getting a Thunder K8WE (S2895)

Hi!

Of course it can run Windows Xp 32 bit. The computer specification is much higher for the operating system to run and there can be no problem for it.

About the hard drive, it depends upon it RPM (Rotate Per Minute) and it's data access time. I think SATA drive is good to use.

Hope it helps..
