My blackberry curve 8520 wont turn on, will not charge up only a red line through the battery symbol

it happens when ur bb battery is damaged if u change ur battery u will not face that problem

King, many times this happen, don't worry, put your device on charge 2 to 5hours it will solved, if problem persist, change battery, because this sounds me a only battery problem. there is one another way (if you are not sure don't try this) we call that direct charging
first take one charger who has light on head and then cut the charging connector of charger and then you will see two colours of wires separate the black and red wires (red wire is positive line and black is negative line) and then connect to current supply but make sure there wire are separated otherwise it will have a short circuit and then take battery and search + and - connector and then red wire connect on battery positive connector and black on negative connector if you connect properly you will see the charging light are getting dim. that mean it is charging, do direct charge for 10 min and then switch on your device with battery and put in charge normally. this will solve your problem. if my sugetion was helpful please rate it.

maybe a bad cord. if it charges normal on the charger then it needs to be setup so it will charge thru the usb

over time cell phone battery's die. the only way to fix them is to get a new one.

Maybe your battery is dead and or faulty, go for a refund/replacement from the manufacturer.

There's a symbol of the battery on the top left corner. When you plug in the charger and turn it on, note the changes in the battery. It will show that it's filling. When the indicator steadies itself at the maximum point, it indicates that the battery is full.

just re install the blackberry operatind system software into ur fon from ur computer................and go on ....................or u can take off the battery and put it into again and press the return key when the red light goes off and till ur cell completly opens dont leave the return key..............it opens ur cell in safemode and u can deal with the error in safe mode

My Blackberry 8520 just shut itself down and when I try to turn it back on nothing happens but when I put it into the wall charger the red LED light comes on and a charging symbol but still doesnt switch on.
Ive tried of mulitiple occasions taking out the battery and rebooting it but still no sign of any life?
Any Idea's?

Sounds like the display. There is a warranty on the unit. Contact your provider to find out what your service and replacement options are.
