Every time I use Google to search for Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Games, it will open the correct search page showing me everything Google has found and what my options are. The problem is the size of the text which is so small it is almost unreadable. If I select a crossword puzzle from Yahoo games I can't read any of the clues. This only happens when I am searching for Yahoo services.

Gmail+google as homepage after unexpected changes

I'm guessing that you're having the same problem as I've been trying to deal with.. I used igoogle as my home page for years... and NOW IT'S GONE... Everything I've tried to replace it with is very disappointing. You're probably like me in that you don't want to simply tell Google to stuff it, because you probably want to keep your g-mail address, and possibly some other things. All Google is going to offer you now is a page with the different Google apps... plus a Google App Store to give you the option of having more apps. .. but, basically you cannot have a Google Home Page as we've known it,... from Google, anyway. I've basically settled on going back to Yahoo, so that I can have a home page like I want. You can, if it's still possible, import your data from most of your Google apps, into a Yahoo account, where they'll show up on your Yahoo Home Page. Yahoo has import options for you to use to accomplish this. You'll need to provide Yahoo with your G-mail address and your password. You'll have to fool with this a while in order to accomplish what you want... but, I consider it, all the way around, to be your best option to spend your time and efforts on. As soon as I'm willing to give up my G-mail address and to redo my Google calenders, I'm going to give Google the one-finger salute and put all my eggs in a different basket.... probably Yahoo.

I can't open any of the boxes, ie inbox, outbox? I can open my main yahoo email page

I find that IE is outdated now a days and it is far more better to download and install "Google chrome" and use as a primary browser. Chrome has Java, flash and other necessary components pre installed within the browser so no need to install them in your PC,also bowsing and downloading is 10 times faster that IE. You can even play games from the APPs section without installing them in your PC. so give it a try ... Great app.

I am unable to access yahoo mail page from google search as I was able to do previously

I am not sure what exactly you meant, but I guess you have selected the wrong links. The correct link is this (click here) and the direct link if you wish to type in the browser address bar is mail.yahoo.com followed by Enter (press enter).

The screen shot of the correct google search result which you should click:

If you did mean otherwise, please let me know with more details.

Good Luck.

I can not get yahoo home page to open. Have switched to Google for now. Can not even access my e-mail site from google. Is the site having problems?

No. Yahoo Mail, Google or Gmail are accessible here in our end.

Try to access Yahoo Mail in different internet browser (e.g. Firefox, Opera). If the Yahoo page loads up, then the problem has something to do with the current browser that you are using. You may clear the cookies and cache of your browser and see if that will work. Here's how:

* For Internet Explorer:

1. Run Internet Explorer and click on 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to Internet Options and locate the Browsing History section.
3. Click the 'Delete' button and delete the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History.
4. Close the Internet Explorer and re-open it.
5. Access your e-mail.

* For Mozilla Firefox:

1. Run Firefox and hit 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to 'Clear Recent History' and click the drop-down arrow for 'Time range to clear'.
3. Select 'Everything' and then click the line beside details.
4. Check browsing & download history, form & search history, cookies, cache.
5. Click "Clear Now" button.
6. Close and re-open Firefox.
7. Access your e-mail.

* For Safari:

1. Open the Safari.
2. Click the Safari menu (right beside the Apple icon) and select "Empty Cache".
3. When asked "Are you sure you want to empty the cache?", click "Empty".
4. Click the Safari menu (right beside the Apple icon) then go to "Preferences".
5. From the security dialog box, click "Bookmarks".
6. Click on "Show Cookies" button and then hit "Remove All" button.
7. Select "Done".
8. Access your email.

Thank you and good luck!

Can't access e-mail

You need to do a google search for 'Yahoo Mail Error UDB:1'

Then the first result is a 'yahoo answers' question someone asked, the answer there solves it.

You have to delete the yahoo cookie from your browser.

I use firefox, so you go to Tools>Options>Privacy> button 'show cookies' delete yahoo cookie.

Go back to yahoo login page. Username and password.. and it will fix it.

I had the same problem.

It is called a UDB 1 error, often happens right after you change your password.

It's ******* pathetic. You can write an email from ANOTHER account to yahoo customer service for some slow, unreliable help though.
