Error E9 means a problem with your water pressure sensor. Check the sensor by pulling the hose attached to the bottom part of the tub and blow on it and test the terminals of the sensor if it will close or open.

Hope helps.

My Defy Laundromaid Electro Logic 920 is showing and 'EU' error msg. How do I clear this.

disconnect the power cord from outlet box by 45 seconds. Hold the power button in OFF. Connect again and try it.
If this do not resolve the problem, you must call to the company or some tech service for fix it

My defy laundromaid electrologic 1300 suddenly stops spinning and gives a ue error

I had the same problem: E9 error when switching the machine on. This indicates something is wrong with the pressure switch. (or connection to the pressure switch). When you open the top cover at the back of the machine it will be in the right hand corner (when looking from the back of the machine). This is a round device with a clear tube coming in at its bottom and a three wire connecting plug at its side. When unplugging I found one of the pins corroded (green tarnish). After cleaning it off with some steel wool the problem became intermittent - indicating the connection is not too sound. Just bending the pin slightly did the trick causing it to soundly make contact inside the plug. Problem solved!!
