None of the keys are the same. You have the key somewhere, if this is new software. It may be on your installation disc or on the folder it was in or in the front of the installation booklet. If you can not find it you need to contact Adobe and have your receipt/serial number etc. handy.

I had to reinstall video pro 3x and now I cant open my previous projects

Dear Donna,

Obviously you might have saved your projects in a folder other than the default Corel Video Pro X3 folder. Even, if they are there on uninstalling the software asks for deleting user data. If they were there and you had deleted the user data than you shall need a File Recovery tool to get your files back.

Second:
If they are not in the default folder and projects files are still there on your system, you can easily double click and open them again in Videostudio X3. Once, you have uninstalled the s/w and then installed it back the Recently Open/Projects list is deleted by default. Once, you shall start opening your projects again and again the list shall compile again.

When trying to render my DVD Architect Studio 5.0 project to burn to DVD it just starts rendering and the percentage stays at 0% and just keeps going for hours. This is only the second project I've done...

Sony DVD Architect Version 5 - large rendering time, not burning disk, stuck at rendering stage, stuck at 0%

I don't often write on forums, so I hope the information I give helps and maybe saves someone some time.

I recently got the trial version of Sony DVD Architect. I made a DVD, including a menu, I was really happy with it.
When I tried to burn the disk, it said it required more than 24 hours and counting, to burn a single disk. I waited for hours, and it was still stuck in the "rendering" stage, not getting past 1%.

I tried many, many, different variations of my dvd to get it to work. After many hours of altering things to find where the problem might be, I finally isolated it. After turning off "animated thumbnails" the DVD burnt normally.

I emailed Sony's technical support during my problems asking for help, and got no response back. I will send this letter to them too.

Despite wasting a lot of my time and getting no useful help from the company, as of now, I am happy with this product.

Hope this information helps ~ John

My software is asking for microsoft home and student product key

Assuming you have a DVD copy the cd key is in the DVD box. Student copy allows you to install it on 3 separate computers so long as the installs are for children in school or college.
Please let me know if this solves your problem

Can't transfer pictures from camera to pc

francis5262, Have you first installed the Nikon software to your PC before connecting it?  You may be using Picture Project, after you install it, try shutting down the PC and restart it, if you installed it correctly and the projects folders you created are there now when you connect the camera should recognize the camera and ask if you want to download the images to the folder you selected.  One more thing check for updates for the software too. randy320sgi
