Hello i have a laptop computer I have all ready install the hp software that came with the printer and it was working fine. one day it just stop working and the software is not up on the screen anymore and the computer does not see the printer and will not reinstall the software it is telling me that there is soft ware already installed on my pc it is not found when i go into control panel. it is asking for 'hpgwiamd.dill' and 'HPZius12sys' plus 'hpzimc12.dill' when you put the disc in it does not find those things .I have been on the internet all most all the fixes tell me to download regcure and that will fix it but it didn't so can you please help with a solution so just to recap its telling me that the program is still installed when i put the cd in. My problem is the same. I installed the software to run my new HP all in one scanner/copier/printer and for about a month or two all I needed to do was plug the printer USB into my laptop. Two weeks ago, it printed half of what I asked it to with an error message and now it won't print anything at all. The laptop doesn't recognize the printer and the printer doesn't recogmize the laptop.
Go to www.hp.com/downloads and find the correct driver for your Op system and printer.
turn off any running prgrams including your virus control.
go to the toolbar>tools>general>and delete your cookies.
download the driver to your desktop,it will be an exe file
turn off and unplug your printer.
click on the exe file to install the new driver.
If it has not instructed you to connect your printer again, do so now and you might try a different USB port
restart your computer.
