At the front on the cab / canopy is two large mouting bolts. You undo these but first you need to sort out the aux pedals and the dirt cover that goes over them.
I think thats some hex bolts. Once that is off you can unclip the pedals and then undo the main bolts and the cab will hinge backwards.
Its a one man job until you need to put it back down as you need to relocate the slew lock.
You may have to unclip the tracking levers in the middle of all of that but there only on small clips so its easy to do.
The hinge locks in place so you will have to unclip it for it to return back down.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

It does have a tilt over safety feature. But if it wasn't plugged in when it tilted, it shouldn't have tripped the switch. However, if it was plugged in, it probably tripped the switch. Check your Owners Manual for how to reset the switch.
Thank you for contacting us regarding the "clunk" sound you are
experiencing with your Aprilaire 550. The noise you have described is called
water hammer.
Water hammer is a pressure surge or wave resulting when a fluid in motion
is forced to stop or change direction suddenly. Water hammer occurs when the
solenoid valve closes at the end of a humidification call.
To prevent the sound of water hammer, we recommend contacting your heating
& cooling contractor to install a "shock arrestor" part number 4280. This
device is installed between the water pipe and the solenoid valve and will
absorb the shock and stop the banging.
Please contact your heating & cooling contractor or our Customer
Service Department if you have further questions.

Could be a bad installation or the motor might be tilted and not sitting straight inside the pump casing. Disconect the discharge pipe and vent pipe and drain the pump into a bucket, check if it makes a different, if it does then the problem might be on the drain pipe. Also you might want to open the lid and remove the motor with pressure chamber and make sure is sitting straight inside the pump casing.
It sounds like you have crimped the vent pipe and partially blocked the flow. Pull the dryer out from the wall, unhook the vent pipe and check to be sure you don't have a partial blockage of lint or maybe a kink in the pipe. Regards, Joe
