I can assume you burned the latest in windows vista, as it is in a different format than XP, you may need to install nero incd on the pc that you need to view the contents, you can try it here

you might have finalised the disk after its burn or
you need to choose to burn a multisession disc so you can add more photos or to finalize the disc after the burn if the burning software supports multisession
you can add these photos on at a time or select the folder to add

your burning software might not have the capability of a multisession burn

hope this helps

I JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO START THE BURNING PROCESS

this is an example to burn photos or data

open windows explorer navigate to the photos the select the photos right click copy and then paste them into a folder or select all photos click and hold the cursor and drag and drop them into folder or right click and select send to your folder
once you have done this open up your burning software depending on which it is you can choose either a data cd or dvd or burn an iso image to disc you might choose a multisession disc so you can add more photos or to finalize the disc after the burn if the burning software you have supports multisession

How do I burn a CD with my pictures, then show them on my computer? Can and how do I delete the pictures on the computer?

Your question was not quite clear "then show them on my computer"

1.) You can use a third program software like nero.
To use nero, you have to "purchase" it first, then install nero, then open "Nero burning ROM" application usually either under
"program files\Ahead\Nero\Nero Burning Rom\nero.exe"
or
Program Files\Nero\...\Nero Burning Rom\Nero.exe

Select the option CD-ROM Iso, then select multi session(if you want to add pictures later) or no multisession (if you dont want to add pictures later)::: For example, your CD takes abour 700MB of data, but you only have 10 pictures @ 30MB or so then you most likely to use multisession.::: Then click on the "new" button to start compiling your cd.

Then you can add your files into your compilation. You can give your CD a name by either double clicking on the little disk icon to your right in the first nero and changing the name OR by selecting "File" from the menu, then selecting the "Compilation properties" option, then click on the "Label" tab, and change your cd's name there.

All you have to do now, after you have given your cd a name and added files to the compilation is to find and click on the "burn" icon located in the nero bar below the "file, edit, new menus".

2.)If you have installed nero, you can also use Nero smart start 2 complile your CD. Benefis: Much quicker and easier to use.

Multisession recording

multisession only means that after burning to a disk, if that disk has still some free memory on it, you can still burn unto that disk.

try to use nero for that. nero has a user friendly way of explaining how to do mutlisession disks.

refer to the help on nero.
