you will need to replace this switch as it has a relay on it and the holding coil that helps keep it running is open and can no longer keep the switch on or closed to operate the dryer
A lot of wahing machines use a bunch of micro-switches to turn the various solenoids on and off. If your washer has that type of switch, it could be sticking, subsequently sending an "on" signal to the fill solenoid.
