IPhone won't unlock..

My iPhone's slider stucks (does not move) when you want to unlock it regardless if you push the home button or the power button on top. When you push each of them the screen turns on but the slider does not move to unlock the phone.Even worse the same happens when someone calls you, so you cannot answer any call! After I try to unlock it 2-3 times afterwards unlocks but its late then and I have to call back the person who called me.I try to restore 1.1.4 firmware version but didn't do anything. Also I have upgraded to the newest 2.0.1 firmware edition with Pwnage tool but the same thing happens. In all other respects the phone works flawlessly but this problem makes it almost unuseable. I am forced at the moment to use it with its included cable hands-free to accept calls.anybody can help???

The slider hangs when I try to answer any incoming call. It responds when I reset it or when home button is pressed for long but by that time the caller always hangs up. I have to return every call after wards. Other wise it works just fine. I have tried versions 1.1.4 and 2 but the problem persists.

    Can you help me?

Its damaged. Maybe a software update or full reset could help but I doubt that, take it back!

Cant get into my iphone how do i reset passcode without code or apple id.

  1. Restoring Original Settings, and Removing Old Passcode

    • 1 Connect your USB cable to your iPhone and your computerimage1.gif.

    • 2 Turn off your iPhone by pushing the powerimage1.gif button on the top of the phone and waiting for a slider to appear on the screen. Move the on-screen slider as directed when it appears on your iPhone.

    • 3Turn your iPhone on by simultaneously holding down the power button and the home button. The home button is the circular button in the middle of the lower portion of your iPhone face. A yellow sign indicating you are in restore mode will appear on the iPhone.

    • 4 Start the iTunes program on your computer.

    • 5 Click on the summary tab when iTunes starts.

    • 6 Click on the "Restore" button. This restores all the original settings on the iPhone.

  2. Setting New Passcode

    • 7 Select the "Settings" icon on your iPhone.

    • 8 Click on "General Settings" option and choose the option for the passcode lock.

    • 9 Enter a four-digit code that will be used in the future to unlock your iPhone. Others cannot use your iPhone without the code. Your iPhone will require you to enter the four-digit code a second time to confirm and set the code.

    • 10 Select how often you want your iPhone to require the passcode to be entered.

Apple id lock on iphone 4s

I assume you mean a key coded lock on the phone. If so, you're going to need to reset all the data on your phone. You're going to need a computer and a sync cable for your phone. On your computer, install iTunes, regardless of OS. Then:

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the "recovery mode" alert.
6. Use iTunes to restore the device.

My iphone screen is stuck. i tried to reset it so many times, by holding home & power buttons until apple logo appears. but still slider hangs. I can't turn the power off.

What happened before this? You mean you cannot enter the homescreen because you cannot slide to unlock? How about restoring it in iTunes? If you have a back up, just restore and then restore from back up.

Enter DFU mode first so iTunes will detect your iPhone is in recovery mode.

My i phone is not responding to my touch to unlock it so i can get in my phone

Unlock:

Plug it into iTunes with it at the unlock screen. Somewhere it should say "Unlock your iPhone" or something like that in iTunes. Click it. Otherwise do a restore by going to the screen where it shows how much memory you have used up in iTunes and click restore.

Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.

Reset

To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:

Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

Iphone stuck in call area

Try turning it off by holding the power button on top for a few seconds and then sliding the slider that appears at the top of the screen.

If nothing pops up at the top after holding the power button for a few seconds, try holding the power button + the home button for about 10 seconds until the iPhone reboots.

If you're still having problems after that, connect it to iTunes and press restore.
