You don't. They're already amplified via the amp that's inside the subwoofer. They're only designed for a headphone output on a PV or portable audio player

Altec Lansing is the best company to buy speakers if you watch movies or listen to music. it hits both deep and a strong bass. These are the best speakers to buy.

If you are listening through headphones that are plugged in to the Altec system, then your problem is the amplifier is bad. Can't help you online with that. Sorry!

Hi there bud ...Are you sure you using the RCA Cables , and not just the Cables that came with SPeakers?
Also make sure THat your T.V can handle 5.1 Channel Sound Speakers..

Drivers and support softwares for Dell Dimension 9100 are still very much available to Dell's website (here). Download the audio driver for your StaCruz Audio card.

Unfortunately the subwoofer supplies the power to the amp on the speakers, Once again I have the solution,
These speakers are factory molded so that the only way to open them is to break the factory seal
this can be done by sharply rapping the seam at the bottom of the speaker with a heavy screwdriver handle or something similar.
Now you need to supply power to the amp...If you do not have the subwoofer you will need a 4.5volt power supply, after removing the board from the casing find the red white and black wires connecting
the orange plug wire to it, Personally I removed the entire cord from the unit, shough you can splice in at this point if you desire.
Connect the white lead to your posative on your power supply by either splicing or soldering, connect the ground to the heat sink using the screw that is already there holding the chip to the sink. reassemble the speaker.....super glue... and you are now in business.

It won't work like this due to this being a computer only speaker system. It requires the drivers to work with a computer & a Home theater does not recognize the format. Sorry.

The speakers are probably fine. What you probably need to do is to reinstall the sound drivers on your dell.

You need the model of your dell pc and go to the dell website and find download and install the sound drivers for your system.

The model of your pc will be needed if any more assistance is needed.
