My problem is that it is saying open cover: Clear pen carriage jam, then press enter... what is that?
and the carriage is stuck at corner

Hi,

Perform a semi-full reset on the all-in-one by following the steps below

1
Take out the cartridges from the unit .
2
Make sure the unit is connected to the wall jack directly without any surge protector.
3
Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit ( without turning off the unit ) .
4
Now press the # and 6 key together , while holding these keys down plug in the power cord back into the unit .
5
Do not release the keys after a few seconds u will find te hp logo or bars moving across the screen .wait while the unit turns off.
6
after one minute turn on the prnter . it will go into alligment phase > let it finish .

7 Allow the all-in-one to re-initialize. This may take a minute or two.

8 If prompts appear in the all-in-one display to set the front panel language and country settings, perform the steps to set this information

Thanks

I had the same problem, but was able to use my printer by adding HP OfficeJet V40 instead from the dropdown list. I didn't need to bring in a driver. Try it...it worked for me.

I have a HP office jet printer t45 with an error message c0030002, how can I fix this problem

Try this. Hope it will help you.
This indicates an obstruction to the print carriage. Turn off the power,
c003 xxxx
open the top cover, and look for something preventing the ink car-
(x = any
number)
tridges from moving back and forth.
If the problem persists, close the top cover, turn on power, and open
the top cover again so the print cartridges move to the center. Remove
and reinstall both print cartridges. Close the top cover. Then remove
the power plug from the back of the HP OfficeJet, wait four seconds,
and plug it back in. If the front panel directs you to, realign the print
cartridges by pressing Enter and following the instructions on the
sheet that prints out.
Note:
For any error code not listed above, remove the power plug
from the back of the HP OfficeJet, wait four seconds, and plug it back
in. If the error code persists, contact Hewlett-Packard for assistance.

Cartridges may be clean but not seated properly in their respective cradles. Also make sure each cartridge is in its respective cradle.

Hp officejet T45 problem

I found that the T45 will print color from the HP 950 Driver, which is easy to select in most Windows versions. You may have software conflict so it might work for you...
