SOURCE: removing the water pump
Can't answer that specifically, but there is no vehicle that I know of that requires manifold removal to access water pump. Any brackets which must be removed will have bolts to remove them. Don't take hoses off either a/c compressor or p/s. don't turn ps pump upside down or fluid will leak out. Before putting new pump on, make sure that it is identical to one you removed, especially fan flange (which can be pressed on at differing heights, during manufacture) Resulting mis-alignment there will cause you to "eat" drivebelts!
good luck!

SOURCE: Where is the water pump located on a 99 plymouth voyager, 3.0Lit?
I have a 2000 plymouth voyager with the 3.0 ltr. If i am not mistaken the engines are the same, and if that being the case, the water pump is located behind the timing cover. It is also driven by the timing belt, so while in there making the repair to the water pump you should go ahead and throw a new timing belt on there.

you will need some fairly long wrenchs 15mm-16mm to get leverage on the spring loaded serp tesiner put a wrench on the pulley near the belt ? also loosen the 4 fan bolts on the water pump before you remove the belt ? ther are 7 fan shroud bolts you can split the fan shroud ? 2 bolts on the lower right and 2 on the left ? after you do this then you should be down to pulling off the fan and pulley just slides off ? then remove the 4 waterpump mounting boltss, scrape the old gaskets ? when this is done all you have left is to installthe fan studs from the old pump? you do this by screwing down 2 nuts on the stud then with 2 wrenchs lock the nuts together ? then unscrew the bottom nut ? keep doing that till all 4 are replaced? install the gaskets and add some silicone and reverse the process ? hope this helps repost thumbs up !!
