I have a Toby steamer. It keeps tripping the power. The plug works, my iron works on the same plug

1. It draws more power that the breaker is rated for.
2. Unit is defective and should be replaced.
3. Try a different outlet that is on another breaker.

Don't have power to 120v recpt. on dometic rm 2862 ref

Go to your breaker box inside the RV. Locate the breaker that is for the refrigerator. It may have tripped but still looks as if it is on. Turn it off then back on. It should click and stay firm in the on position. Now check your outlet for power. Either use an outlet tester or a portable radio. If you have power but the refrigerator is still not working you will also need to check the 12vdc power supply. The refrigerator must have 12volts to operate even when in AC mode. There is a wire from the 12vdc connection block that goes to a thermal switch on the heat riser tube to the right. That wire has an inline diode and if the diode has failed it will not allow the refrigerator to work and like wise if the thermal switch has tripped it will shut the unit down. The switch is resettable. The diode wire, if bad, will have to be replaced. If you do not have 110vac power at the outlet after resetting the breaker you will need to remove the outlet and inspect it for bad connection or broken wire and then trace the wire back to the breaker box until you find the point of failure. You will also want to check the ground bar in the breaker box and make sure the neutral wires are properly seated and tight.

My rice cooker does not start; although the clock works.

I had this happen, and it turned out that the GFCI power outlet had tripped. You may want to try plugging something else in the outlet first and see if that item works - if that other item doesn't work, hit the reset button on your GFCI outlet, alternatively you may have to switch the breaker in your breaker box.

Dryer will not come on

Check to make sure its plugged in.  Have you checked to see if you have power? A non-invasive circuit tester would be helpful.  Lights up when placed near the outlet.  Available at any home supply store for under 10.00.  If you have power at the lug.  Make sure the wire is firmly attached to the dryer.
