Hi, If the Toshiba Satellite is not turning on using the Battery and the adapter, you have to check it with the Toshiba support team. There could be a hardware problem with the system already and needs attention.

Good News! Any brand PCMCIA wireless adapter should work fine with your IBM ThinkPad 600E 2645. The main compatibility issue will be more of what operating system you use, what processor your machine is running and how much memory you have installed. Some older PCMCIA wirless card models may have issues with Windows 7. Check the manufacturers compatibility labels on the product packaging and make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements for the card. Also, if you want better performance, Wirless G adapters are also available in USB as well and tend to be more stable and relaible. As with PCMCIA - make sure the adapter is compatible with your operating system and your computer meets the minimu system requirements.

I recommend Netgear, Belkin or Linksys brands for performance, availability, service and affordability.

What is the Make and Exact Model of your PC and the wireless adapter If you goto the website for the wireless adapter Make and Exact Model - they should have the windows 7 driver available - if not - you could try the vista driver if available on the site- it may work...

Probly sound stupid, but have you checked ebay?, alot of stores have products on ebay to do with dvd players
