Hello, i think the problem is from the Printer. Why i think is from the printer is that, when you print it is expected to come out with a paper on it but it blicks, the printer has to be checked on.

Check the paper tray settings and make sure they are alinged with they type of paper you are using. (Ex. Letter) These settings have to be perfect in the tray so the printer knows what paper is in there. Usually when this happens the printed is asking you if you want to use the tray anyway and by pressing the button you are saying yes so it prints. Try loanding the manual tray with letter paper and see if the same thing happens.

Hi, The power cord is connected. The green light inicates that the printer is on. Pressing the button at the green light and the printer will print a page. However when we try to send print jobs from out...

If the printer is printing a test page (by pressing the button on the printer) it means printer is fine. There are only two things that could be having any issues. 1. The printer drivers and 2. the USB Cable. So, I suggest that uninstall the printer and reinstall the printer drivers (It should print the Test Page after driver installation). I have come accross such issues with USB printer and replacing the USB cable has always fixed the problem.

Good Luck!
Hope this helps!

5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.
6. Select functions below with RESUME, execute with POWER

I have a canon iP90 printer and a code is coming up 5C00?

Try this to reset the error.

1) Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button. (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)

2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (Do not release the Power button.)

3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button three times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.) During initialization, the LED blinks in green.

4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the 4 times. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.)

5) Press the Power button. The LED lights in green, and the selected function is performed. (When the operation completes, the printer returns to the menu selection mode automatically.)

6) Power off then back on and test.

If it still comes up with this error there might be some paper down near the print heads. If there is no paper there, you might have an actual hardware issue.
