1. Connect your LG Cyon to your computer via it's USB cable.
2. Upon receiving a "USB Connected" notification atop the Notification bar, drag the bar down and select "USB Connected."
3. Now select the option corresponding to "Turn On USB Storage" or connect as "Mass Storage Device"
You should now see a new flash drive or storage device connected to your computer. Browse/Move/Copy/Delete files (including photos) as you would with any other flash drive or thumb stick.

when the phone is plugged into computer via usb port, on the display of the phone will say usb modem , usb mass storage device with a checkmark beside it. tap where it says "usb mass storage device " on the display of the phone. on your computer it should begin to install device drivers, and now you can view or transfer files to/from the phone. note: you need to have a micro sd card installed on the phone before you can select usb mass storage under usb phone settings. hope this helps because i like to never found the answer, had to call lg customner service to find the answer, this info is not in the owners manual or anywhere to be found on the internet.
First, rip your music to your computer. Then plug in your phone to the computer using it USB charging cable. Next, select Settings, Tools, USB Mass Storage (that will cause your computer to see your phone as another drive. Next, copy your ripped music from your computer to the My Music folder on you phone. Finally, select Exit from you phone's USB Mass Storage screen.
In order for the phone to work with ur pc u have to set/change the connectivity.
Go into Phone settings, then Connectivity, then USB Connection Mode, then select either Mass storage or Data Service, to use Mass Storage you must have a Memory card inserted into the phone, then you can select mass storage and use your phone as an external hard drive/memory stick. In this mode u can only transfer pics, music, videos etc from pc to phone and vice versa via your Computer Windows Explorer.
It will not enable you to use the LG PC suite Application. To use the LG PC suite, you must select Data Service, then connect your phone to the PC via a USB port.
u can install lg internet kit from " wowlg.com" then u can connect with ur USB for connectivity,
for connecting internet u need to select 'com port' option instead of mass storage .
or if u want to trfr data from mobile to PC or vice versa u can selecrt the option of mass storage , then automatically ur h.set wil restart,u wil get the option USB "ON" on ur mobile. u wil get new link in ur PC "removable device " in option My computer, open that to trfr data.
