Please check in to your Bios system maybe share memory Video or capacity is setting

You need the EXACT speed rated RAM.

The performance of your laptop will improve if similar memory is placed in each of memory slot.If 1gb memory and 512mb memory are placed in available slot you will only get the performance of a single 1gb memory.but two 1gb memory are used performance will be similar to a 2gb ram or more.

In regards to the memory issue the problem is that your notebook only support 1gb of memory so you will have to split it between 2 512 sticks as that is the max the computer can handle. This is why the system blue screens with the 1bg stick.

the memory that you Upgrade doesn't support to your motherboard..

it is better to use a 3200/1gb...

2 gb is the max

Look up your server at www.crucial.com using their memory finder.
They should have detailed information.

As far as i can tell your computer will hold up to 1024 megs of ram that is 2 512 sticks. Just pic up the other 512 and call it a day that way you know your maxxed out on ram anyway. Not sure if it will take the different size sticks as I haven't found anything on their site. TRY HERE

Does your computer support that much ram? Most computers only support 2 GB ram. Check with the manufacturer for info.
