Question about LG Flatron L2320A 23" LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Monitor Turning Off

My screen is turning off every 5 seconds at that. I can still hear everything in the background and I know there is power still because I can turn it off and then back on again. I tried my computer on another monitor and everything is just fine. I have only had it for two years, and I always put it to screensaver or hibernate when not in use. The cables are all fine, the power is set to NEVER turn off. I am at my wits end, please give me something to try before i have to go buy a new monitor. Thanks!!!

You may have a screen saver running in background which you need to disable in general display settings.try holding the power button for at least ten seconds then try and restart the tablet after you have done that.

My PS3 has been broken for a very long period of time. About 6-9 months now, I've lost track. Every time I turn it on my PS3, it starts with the wavy animation and the colored background, and then the...

Ok, please try the following steps :

Step 1. Turn your PS3 off into standby (red light on)

Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep a total of 3 times and turn off again. Release the power button.

Step 3. Press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, then 5 seconds later it will beep again and then it will beep twice quickly. Let go of the power button when you hear these 2 quick beeps.

Step 4. The PS3 will start up asking you to connect a controller via USB and press the PS button. Do this then continue to the next step

Step 5. The PS3 will load with a menu with 6 options, choose number 5 "Restore PS3 System" and follow the on screen prompts.

Using this method should sort your PS3 out for you.

Hope this helps

My ps3 turns on and shows the wavy background for the home menu screen but no menu icons show up. Nothing on the controller changes anything and icons never come up. The wavy colored background is there...

This problem is because your PS3 software has become corrupt. The following steps will cure the problem but you will lose saved games and all other data. Your trophies will not be affected as these are stored by the Playstation Network.
Step 1. Turn your PS3 onto standby (Red light on)
Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it, beep 5 seconds later then beep once more 5 seconds later and then turn back to standby. Release the power button.
Step 3. Press and hold the power button again. It will beep when you first press it, beep again 5 seconds later and then beep twice quickly. Let go of the power button as soon as you hear these two beeps.
Step 4. The PS3 will start up asking you to plug in a controller with a USB cable and press the PS button. Do this and it will boot into the recovery menu.
Step 5. Choose option 5 (Restore PS3 system). This will re-install the PS3 software and restart the console.
Step 6. When the PS3 restarts you will be asked to enter the time and date and other information. When the setup is complete your PS3 will boot into the home menu normally.

Hope this helps

Turns on but will not display anything on tv no background or anything power went off yesterday but is on serge protector same as tv

Try a video reset:

While the PS3 is off (solid red led) hold down the power button until you hear the SECOND beep, quickly release.

Let me know if that solved your problem.

Not getting a start up screen. Started out just getting the "swirly" background pic with no icons and when I tried rebooting, even that was gone. Now I just get a blank screen.

hi, just sorted mine out. you have a problem with your hard disk . When you turn your ps3 on hold the power button down for 5 seconds until you hear a beep. My screen went black. now turn it off and restart it normally and it will reload your hard drive and hopefully have your problem sorted.
