My LG dishwasher is stopping after a few minutes into the wash cycle with an error message OE and making a sound. The dishwasher tablet is still inside the dispenser and while there is water in the unit it isn't hot. Any ideas what is wrong, I don't have a manual

LG dishwasher model LDS 5811ST returns LE error message after running a few minutes in Normal setting. Goes through most of cycle before returning LE message in Quick Wash cycle.

Do you get any number in error message?

During a wash cycle, the washer will not spin, and displays the message OE after a few minutes of the motor running, but no spinning.

OE drain error. Water not drained after 10 minutes. Look for junk in the filter or pump.

1. Blocked drain hose
2. Obstruction in the sump area (beneath the filter, which needs to be removed to check for onstruction)
3. Failing drain motor.

LG WM2277HW trouble

take off the front kick plate on the bottom and there is a pea trap thats conected to the pump twist it off and see if it is cloged thats what usaully makes it not spin

Hi rebeccasolom,

OE means "Outlet Error"

The drain pump is either clogged or the outlet hose is kinked.
- Inspect the Drainage hose at the back for kinks.
- Open the unit, and at the bottom sump check the small drain pump area for any foreign object that may be obstructing it.
