Reprogam keypad. Press and release learn button and within 20 sec. enter 4-digit code on keypad and then press and hold enter. The light on the opener will blink once. It is now reprogrammed

Sears Canada 139.53681B FCC ID hbw1255 I DONT HAVE MANUAL & NEED TO RESET REMOTE TO OPEN DOOR FOR GARAGE. CAN ANYONE HELP? V

You don't normally ever need to reset the remote but.....................

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and hold the button on your remote while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. If this doesn't work either your remote or the receiver has quit working. Make sure the battery in the remote is good.,

My Sears remote keypad model clk1 fcc id hbw1579 stopped working after 6 years. I changed the battery but its still not working. Does it need to be re-programed? If yes, how?

Shouldn't need programming but you can try this.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

If this doesn't work you will need a new keypad.

I have a Sears Security Keyless remote entry device that mounts on exterior of garage to allow me to open the door. It is model 139.18795. That is no longer listed as a part at Sears but an identical...

The motors in a garage door opener are under quite a strain and will not run too much without overheating. The thermal overload will cut them off until they cool. This could be your problem. The model number of the opener is on the end of the motor unit nearest the door and you need that to make sure you have the right keypad. There are more than one and some will not work.

It sounds like you bought the wrong car remotes. The model number for your opener is on the end closest to the garage door. Using it you can get the correct remotes.

I have a garage opener where the remote is not working. I have changed the battery, but it is still not functioning. Craftsman FCC ID HBW1136

Make sure the light in the wall control is not blinking. If it is press and hold for 3 seconds the button with the lock icon. If this isn't the case your remote may have failed.
