Visit the LG site for your area and download the support software, it will check your phone for the latest firmware and update it if necessary. The other thing to check is to switch the phone from using the external memory card to internal memory, or vice-versa. One of the memories may be corrupted and will need to be re-formatted.

I guessed at 0000 and it allowed me to format it.
Although bizarrely it was showing that it had 1.5GB free in the memory manager thingy, but wouldn't let the camera access it

Before you format it - it might be worth checking the "Primary Storage Setting" under Memory Manager and set it to external - it might be that the internal memory is full. Indeed - it might be that the web browser only uses internal memory for it's run-time uses, so you might need to make sure that there is some free space on the internal memory, full stop. (You can always move stuff to the external drive in the media album to make space if you don't want to delete things - beware though: If you've replaced the background picture on your main screen - this must live on the internal memory).

You might find that the phone is trying to download the pic to the other memory. It has both sim memory and external memory. You should check where it is trying to download it to or see if the other memory is full.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do this. Only in camera/video mode you can set the default memory to the card. Everywhere else, the internal memory is default.

The phone will always store data in the small internal memory when you transfer something to it...you need to enter the file mamager and move the files to the memory card. It is a small annoyance of the Prada. I personally just use an external card reader...so much easier and faster.

I have posted information in 'hints and tips' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc).  The first thing to remember when sending files to your phone is that they have to be done one at a time as the phone memory is limited.  The phone has a memory card inside it which is extra/external to the phone memory.  What is confusing is that you cannot send files directly to this memory card so each file you send to the phone has to be moved to the 'external memory' before you send another to the phone.

Make sure that when you go to My Stuff, you select the correct memory source. The internal memory is located on the upper left hand side and the memory card is on the upper right hand side. By default the phone shows the internal memory, so you have to select the memory card every time you want to access it.

If you have a memory card in the phone, you need to move all files to that... then you will be able to download things through bluetooth and move them also to the memory card.

No, copy your music to the memory card rather than storing it on the phone. you must do this in 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' select the mp3 then click the bottom left button (details), then press 'file', then 'move' To view the moved files goto 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' then in the top right corner you will see a picture of a memory card. press this to see swith to view the external memory.
