We've had a 42" LCD/HD plasma for 7 months now but the other day it switched itself of and now there is no picture or sound. There is power going to the tv, we can hear the clicks and see the red Led turn blue but it does not respond to any remote actions or on tv buttons either. it will stay on for around a minute at most then switch itself off as if there was no activity for it to stay on. Ive tried new leads, checked everything is fitted correct, even isolated the tv from cable box etc just to see if the tv would work on its own but nothing. Just a blank screen and no sound. It was purchased from a catologue and the warranty was never activated so im looking for any option that might be possible that wouldn't affect the pocket to much... Any idea's on what i might be able to do? Thanks for your time, Bobbins :)
Tries tv unplug, replug it back like about an hour later. Most of the times tv will resetting itself back to the factory setting and will work again. If still have the same problems, tries pushes the power button on/off a couple times for trying to fire up the tv Tuner signal board, these off/on tries work with many LCD/Plasma HD tvs.But this kind of problems, eventually u have to change the tv Tuner signal board sooner or later.Because the tv Tuner signal board it is dying, and this solution is just a temp fixed for the delaying it for awhile.
