My screen is cracked and how much does it cost to repair the screen it still takes photos i just cant see what im taking ...this is for a poloroid t730

Tcon board or panel is bad, chances are its the board, cost about 25 to 35 to repair if its the board

A cracked screen replacement will cost afound 2/3 of the total cost of the set.

IM afraid you'll need to replace that screen. The sooner the better. The cost depends on your manufacturuer. If its only the front screen, it should be lkay, but considering is a resistive touch based interface, it might cost a significant amount.

i have heard that if you take it into a apple stor they can fix it but im not suer on taht.. im dealing with the same problem.

Many screen breaks happen to ruin the LCD from visibly displaying a picture. On some cameras, the screen is attached to the back plate of the camera and are very easy to replace with a new one. Some screens are attached to a video pc board and may ruin the board from displaying anything. Your best bet is to have it repaired professionally by one of our top repair providers and get an estimate first. I have repaired many good digital cameras with a LCD replacement, but I also had to purchase a broken used one for parts because new parts became to expensive to repair the one with a broken LCD. BTW: all digital cameras contain many PC boards and if you can still take pictures means the boards that control your lens, motors, CCD, and I/O boards are still intact and functional. Sounds like a cracked LCD screen. You may be able to fix it if you can find a replacement screen. I usually search ebay for a broken camera with other problems that I can cannibalize. Here's some examples on LCD replacement. Don't recommend that you try this yourself, unless you have some experience and are comfortable with electronics.

Otherwise, the cost of professional repair is usually beyond the value of this camera. A better option is to sell the camera on ebay for other repair hobbyists to attempt replacing the screen for themselves. You actually may get a good price for the camera IF it's still capable of taking pictures.

Hi if your not doing the repair your self then it should cost about £50 uk or $80 us but i would only advise doing the repair yourslef if you have correct tools and have done this sort of work before as you can warp the board and destroy the phone completely the problems is as its been stud on you might find the board is damaged beyond repair as it only takes the board to be warped slightly and then you might find the phone will never work.
Can you ring from the phone and still accept calls if you cant then i would advise you its not worth repairing if you can still make and recieve calls then you might be lucky.
Whats wrong with screen is it cracked or dark or is it just like the phone is switched off im only asking as i used to work repairing phones for nokia so have some idea of the kind of problems you could be having

I would suggest this is not going to be a viable task. at any level You taking it to pieces and then finding replacement parts. Contact Olypus for advice My guess is that a 'repair' will be near the cost of replaceing the camera. Photo stores [such as Jessops here in the UK] seel Screen protection material. this is like a heavy duty self adhesive tape- which can be cut to size for your screen. That I suggest is a low cost fix.
