Check the ip address on properties menu,if it is ok then check for DNS address,then check the domain is configured with DHCP configuration.

Keith, try another channel. Often times default channel on the router interferes with other devices in the environment, even up to 1/2 mile away. Channel change almost always solves it.

It says it is offline - we have tried all the fixes we have found, including shutting down pc and restarting from scratch - the printer was working fine last week! - the 'printer offline' bit is not ticked...

is this a network printer? if so, your router may have given it a new IP address. Use the keys on the printer to find the IP address in the printer settings, and then update the IP address for the printer port in your computer.

My printer has recently gone offline. I have

Try and shut down the printer and turning it back on. Hold down the power key for 5 seconds or so. Then turn it back on to see if you have your connection showing on your task bar on the bottom of the screen. there should be a green halo around the printer. You may need to reboot your router too.

I think you have to reset your router and then re-configure, try opening it again.
