Can you get the bobbin out of the bobbin holder? unplug the machine, then remove the needle plate, needle and pressure foot. Now can you get the bobbin out? It is possible that the bobbin holder has moved in the rotary hook, they can jump sometimes as held in by a magnet.

Check out your manual for instructions to remove the bobbin holder, it should show you how to take it out, and then clean under it, there is possibly thread caught in this area causing the malfunction.

You may find turning the fly wheel a little to turn the hook will help to free up the holder and get it out.

Here is image from my Janome 6500 manual, it should be similar for your MC.

So clean out the underneat of the bobbin holder, then reinsert it, and reassemble, thread and test. If this doens't sort the problem, then time to drive it to the Janome shop.

6130 euro pro sewing machine the bobbin thread will not pull up and when trying to the needle seems like it gets stuck down there

It sounds like you haven't threaded the bobbin thread correctly. Remove bobbin, bobbin case. If it is stuck, do Not, do not force the assembly, rather look for tangled threads and calmly snip the thread and remove. Once the tangle is gone, remove bobbin and bobbin case. Rethread it carefully. And contact me if you continue to experience difficulty. Ayou may need step by step directions.

Brand new machine, do I need to oil it? singer talent 3321 is suppose to be EASY...needle broke, now it will not sew, seems to be stuck and bobbin seems to not work.

1. You need to remove the bobbin case and adjust the tension. The tension should allow the thread to move with a slight tension. Clean the area with a qtip. The bobbin case sits in a an area that is called the race. The race needs one drop of oil. Replace everything.
2. Replace the needle. Make sure it is in the right direction. Thread the top while the foot is up. If the thread gets stuck while threading there is a problem. The thread should move easily while the foot is up. After you thread the machine except the needle you can put the foot down. Now pull on the thread. It should give you a slight amount of tension. Usually four is a good number. If the tension is too tight you can adjust as needed. Now, thread the needle. Hold the thread under the foot while you turn the hand wheel. The bobbin thread should come up.
3. Give your machine a try with a slow speed.

Pfaff 2014 bobbin casing has thread - needs to be removed - how?

I had this problem with my 7570. I kept trying to wiggle the hand wheel. Took everything apart I could to get at it. Finally after many try's it moved and I was able to use a tweezers to get the tread out. A friend suggested applying a drop of oil to the bobbin case and letting it sit. She said it would desolve the thread some so you could move it.

Won't sew! Loads of top thread bundles up around bobbin casing.

First... make sure you are threading it correctly. It MUST be threaded with the foot up.

Do a test seam. Make sure you put the presser foot DOWN when you sew.

Make sure you grasp and hold the bobbin and top threads as you begin the seam. (this is good practice for any seamstress on any machine.

If you still get loops, tighten top tension.

Also check the bobbin case for burrs. drag a finger nail along edges to feel for it catching. If you find one take a small bit of extra fine sand paper and file it off.

Good luck

LS-1520 Brother sewing machine hook pick thread up takes it around half way and gets stuck...any ideas. the timing seems to be right??!!

try changing needles
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for loose thread or lint
make sure the bobbin is inserted into the bobbin case correctly--if the
machine won't pick the thread up from the bobbin correctly take the bobbin
out of the case & turn it around & try it that way.

Tacsew 950 suddenly siezed up. Handwheel doesn't turn, main shaft doesn't turn, needle stuck in one position, bobbin mechanism doesn't rotate. Nothing moves. I have examined machine very...

This happened to me. I took apart the bobbin and there were no threads stuck. It moved freely, but the hand wheel was still stuck. So I checked the belt between the handwheel and the motor. I tugged on it (while the machine is off) and tugged on the belt to turn the handwheel. It took a couple tuggs to make the handwheel move, but once it started moving, it seemed to unfreeze. And I was back to normal. I can’t tell you what happened, but it’s fine now.
